Amanda Bynes has been having some troubles lately, both mentally and financially. One man is willing to help her out with the latter, by offering her a job as a bartender. Uh, can we say, “worst idea ever”? Here’s the story, from TMZ:
Chad Weiner, the managing partner of State Social House in West Hollywood, tells TMZ ... he's got an apron and a bottle opener with Amanda's name on it ... all she needs to do is say yes.
TMZ broke the story ... Amanda wants to live a "normal life," and make some money -- and she th...
Amanda Bynes' parents have had a task and a half over the past several years. Not only has their daughter gone completely and utterly off the rails, but she's refusing to take her prescribed medication for her various mental health issues (well, she's on the pills at the moment, but will no doubt stop taking them again soon enough) and has even gone so far as to accuse her father of sexually molesting her for years. They're her parents and they love her so they want to help, but they've had enough...
Amanda Bynes somehow managed to convince an officer at the mental health facility where she was on her 5150 hold to let her go free early, but that doesn't mean she's completely off the hook. Her parents still have a conservatorship over her money and while Amanda has tried to fight that, a judge isn't having it and won't give her full access to her funds.
From People:
On Friday, the actress sent a lawyer, Art Santiago, to appear in court on her behalf to contest a temporary conservatorship placed by a judge...
It was recently revealed that Amanda Bynes would remain in a mental health facility for an additional 30 days of 5150 hold after she was evaluated by professionals and deemed to be seriously ill. However, that seems to have gone out the window since she went before a hearing officer on Thursday asking to be released... a request which was granted since she seems to be taking her meds and is somewhat lucid at the moment. And off she went, out onto the Sunset Strip. I'm afraid.

Amanda Bynes was taken in on another 5150 hold last month after exhibiting more than her fair share of strange and possibly dangerous behaviour while in New York. While they initially extended the hold for just two weeks, it's now been extended for another month and her parents have a conservatorship over her finances yet again.
Amanda Bynes' parents quietly went to court and got a conservatorship ... after telling the judge their daughter has spent "alarming amounts" of money by purchasing ...
In 2003, Evan Rachel Wood was on the cover of Vanity Fair along with Amanda Bynes, Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, Mandy Moore, Hilary Duff, Alexis Bledel, Raven Symone, and Lindsay Lohan. What a year to be alive! One Twitter fan was having a major nostalgic moment and tweeted the photo to Ms. Wood with the caption "never forget." Well, she hasn't forgotten, but unfortunately, all the memories she has of the shoot are bad ones. She went off on a Twitter rant about it, and I gotta say, my empathy meter is running l...
Amanda Bynes was tricked into another 5150 psychiatric hold in Los Angeles last Friday, and while involuntary holds like that usually have a window of 72 hours, hers has been extended for an additional two weeks, according to multiple sources, as she is still deemed to be a potential danger to herself or others.
Things don't seem to be going too well for Amanda at the hospital, either - she's apparently having to be heavily medicated because she keeps having episodes of lashing out, and she ...
It was only a matter of time before Amanda Bynes was placed back on her infamous 5150 psychiatric hold. After jetting off to New York, where she exhibited some utterly bizarre (and illegal) behaviour, she was apparently tricked back into hospitalization by her parents and... Sam Lufti? It seemed her Twitter rant in which she accused her father of molesting her was the final straw.
From TMZ:
Amanda Bynes just arrived in L.A. and went directly to a hospital outside L.A. ... where doctors placed her on an involuntary psychiatric hold. We're told Amand...
I honestly have no idea what to make of Amanda Bynes' Twitter rant which appeared on her official account yesterday morning. It was a long-winded schpiel in which she made some intense accusations - the main one being that she has been sexually molested and abused by her father for most of her life. It was... disturbing, to say the least:
Whoa - what the hell? These are SERIOUS accusations which need immediate investigation, right? Except a few hours later, Amanda popp...
Another day, another "please get Amanda Bynes out of New York City for the good of us all" story. We already know she's been spending her spare time shoplifting, but now there's video of her in the Upper East Side boutique Pookie & Sebastian (you're so weird with naming things, rich people) and it's... bizarre, to say the least. In the vid, she strips down to her bra in the middle of the shop AND twerks on her bodyguard.
From the NY Daily News:
Well, that was... interesting. What the hell is wrong with her "friends" and the people who...
Amanda Bynes has been living it up in New York City, it seems - wearing band-aids on her face, announcing fake engagements, clawing fans on the arm and now shoplifting... twice in a day!
From TMZ:
According to our sources, employees at Pookie & Sebastian began following Bynes around the store because she was acting suspicious. We're told they didn't recognize it was Amanda, and just thought she was a "half-naked, homeless crackhead."
Customers tell us Bynes was dancing and muttering about pl...
Amanda Bynes is currently off her meds and haunting New York City with her bizarre behaviour, and it seems things took an even stranger (and violent) turn on Monday night at an event held at the Gilded Lily nightclub in Chelsea, where she apparently went crazy on a fan who got too close.
From TMZ:
Multiple sources tell TMZ ... Amanda showed up by herself to an event at the Gilded Lily nightclub Monday night in Chelsea. We're told she was dancing alone, wearing sunglasses and keeping to ...
