Miley Cyrus got a lot of shit for cutting all her hair off last year since everyone was all used to her being (stereotypically) femme-y and all Hannah Montana-y and whatnot. Some people even began speculating on her sexuality, and many attempted to "insult" her by calling her a lesbian. One small problem with that, though: she actually takes that as a compliment, LOL!
From The Toronto Sun:
"Everyone said I was a lesbian but I'm like, 'Being a lesbian isn't a bad thing. So if you think I loo...
Jay-Z and Timbaland worked together back in 2009 on The Blueprint III but had a bit of a falling out, if you will, after it dropped. I guess songs got leaked and Jay-Z thought that was Timbaland's fault and all hell broke loose. Then Jay-Z wanted to make up but Timbaland was being a big baby and wouldn't listen and then finally they did make up and Tim produced most of Magna Carta Holy Grail (which is a great album, by the way).
From BBC Radio 1 with Zane Lowe (via DS):
"The fallout happe...
I'm not a One Direction fan. I mean, their songs are catchy and I'll sing along if they come on Radio 1 or whatever, but I wouldn't really advertise that because, you know, I'm over the age of 16 and have dignity. Still, the boys have taken the world of kiddy pop by storm with nothing more than average looks and skinny jeans, so here we are, living in a world in which a group cobbled together by Simon Cowell on The X Factor because they weren't good enough to move forward as soloists is one of the most successful boybands in the world and now has their own 3D movie.
This Is Us is going to be a real special film. It's co-produced by Simon and... Morgan Spurlock. That's right, the Super Size Me guy is documenting One Direction's world tour - sounds like a match made in heaven! In any case, the movie will follow the boys on the road and behind the scenes, giving fans an up close and personal look at their lives and zzzzzzzzzzz... oh, sorry, fell asleep at my keyboard again.

Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez are both former Disney stars who spent many of their childhood years as really close friends. Like most teenagers, they grew apart for a few years and while they recently got back in contact, Demi admits she's still feeling a bit lonely without her pal.
From BBC Radio 1 (via DS):
"We grew up together, we knew each other since we were 7 years old," Lovato explained.
"For a while we grew apart and went our separate ways like most people do when they have chil...
From Hollywood Rag:
Nicki Minaj demanded the grass outside her dressing room at T in the Park be cut shorter.
The 'Starships' hitmaker refused to walk around her private area at the Scottish music festival last weekend because the lawn had not been trimmed sufficiently and insisted someone tackle the greenery before she would step outside.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Nicki went mad about the grass around her area, saying it was far too long for her to walk on.
"She threw a comple...
Oh Amy.
I could do without all the Nas, though he's probably one of the best rappers in the game today (which isn't saying a whole lot anyway, when you have people like TYGA or whatever out there)
From the Huff Po:
Nas' collaboration with the late Amy Winehouse has finally surfaced. The track, "Cherry Wine," premiered on BBC's Radio 1 on Tuesday night.
Produced by Salaam Remi, "Cherry Wine" will appear on the rapper's tenth studio album, Life is Good, which is slated for a July 17th release. Nas and Winehouse previously collaborated on "Like Smoke," which appeared on Winehouse's posthumous album Lioness: Hidden Treasures.
I don't know, guys. I love Amy and I miss her and there's still a big old empty spot in my heart where a live, thriving Amy would normally fit (if she were, you know, still live and thriving), and I still have to say it---maybe if girl had laid off the 'smoke' and 'wine' a little bit more and focused on cranking out beautiful music like she used to be so good at doing, she might be here with us today, celebrating 'Cherry Wine' in July of 2012.
As it were, she's not, and we only have things like 'smoke' and like 'wine' to blame. And, you know, the obvious addiction to both.
RIP Amy. Good to see that your music is still living on though you're not. />

Did you guys see The Social Network yet? I told you I was planning on catching it over the weekend and I was generally unimpressed considering the commercials told me that this was the flick that was supposed to "define my generation." Eh, Mark Zuckerberg is an autistic dude with a popular website and he doesn't seem to value his friendships all that much. I could explain my thoughts on that over a bottle of wine, but they're not particularly fun.
Here's what I'd love to get into: How much...
And right now, that person is Jessica Biel.
In a recent interview, Jessica made some comments about her financial worries that pissed a lot of people off (and by "a lot of people," I mostly mean me and a couple other bloggers):
Biel told Radio 1: "Since I was so young when I started I didn’t think about it. I just liked it, it was fun. But as I got older and started to become an adult and then had to get a car and have to pay for insurance and all those things… it’s a huge worry."
The 28-year-old added: "For example, I haven't worked at all this year. I haven’t made a film so I haven’t had a pay cheque and I won’t do anything until September and I don’t know if I’ll do anything after.
"It's always up in the air constantly. My life is very much a question mark when the next pay cheque is coming in and even when it seems like you make enough money, you sometimes don’t know when the next cheque is coming in."
Really? You are a movie star. You were on 7th Heaven. You are banging Justin Timberlake. There is absolutely no need for you to cry about your money woes, and if there is, then maybe you need to doing cocaine cut with stardust and filling your swimming pool with pirate gold, because that's the only way I can figure you'd be in financial trouble. />And right now, that person is Jessica Biel.
