For those of you wondering how someone recovers from getting absolutely clocked on international television, the name of the game is find a party and some friends! Chris Rock may be all the talk today, but last night after the show closed he found solace in the company of friends when he went to the annual Oscar bash hosted by Madonna and Guy Oseary. Guy is one of Chris' best friends and manager to some of the biggest names in the biz. “You wouldn’t really know anything had happened,” an insider told Page6, adding that Rock was “hanging out, happy” and having a good time. “He was talking about it, just saying it was crazy, but it didn’t seem to be bothering him at all.” Here's a pic from Guys own Instagram page showing a few famous friends hamming it up.

From everything we're hearing, it's not a stunt for the show.  Here's what happened. Will and Jada were sitting front row at the Academy Awards when Chris Rock came out to present an award when he took a mini jab at Jada saying, 'Jada, can't wait for GI Jane 2', prompting the actress to roll her eyes. Pinkett Smith has been grappling with hair loss since revealing her alopecia diagnosis in 2018. But shortly after Will came on stage only to greet Chris Rock with an open hand slap to the face while yelling "Keep my wife's name out your fucking mouth" twice to Chris. Chris yelled back "'wow, Will Smith just smacked the shit out of me.' It was crazy. It should also be noted that Vanity Fair executive editor Ramin Setoodeh, who was tweeting live from the ceremony, said that someone who works for the Oscars told him that Rock was not interrupted by Smith at rehearsals yesterday.

'It was not supposed to happen. It was real;' he tweeted.

Afterwords Will was allowed to stay in the theater which led most of us to assume it was a stunt, but he was receiving what seemed like real words of compassion from friends Denzel, Tyler Perry and Bradley Cooper. The wedding party was pretty star studded when Ringo Starrs son, Zak Starkey, married his girlfriend of 18 years, at the Sunset Marquis in West Hollywood. The bride, Sharna "Sshh" Liguz, and groom chose to marry on the 21st to honor their daughter Luna Lee Lightnin, who was born on March 21, 2021. "After 18 years together, Luna's umbilical cord kinda tied the knot but we wanted to make it official and share with our friends and family in the U.S., before doing the same in Jamaica and the U.K.," the couple said in a statement. Adam Levine and his wife Behati Prinsloo bought this house back in 2018 from Ben Affleck and Jen Gardner for $32m after they finalized their divorce.
