Mindy Cohn, who flawlessly played Natalie on the 80's show The Facts of Life, was on Jeff Lewis Live (on Sirius XM) this week and spilled some beans about why there wont be a reboot of the series.
Mindy and fellow cast mates (Kim Fields and Lisa Whelchel) had cameos on the 2021 one night special that saw huge rating numbers and seemed to be enjoyed by all. But...
According to Mindy, when talk of a reboot came up, “what happened was not cute” and because “there was drama” from one of the stars.
“It wasn’t me. I’ll put it that way,” Cohn said after the podcast co-hosts tried to have her say the name of the co-star.
The actress said that “one of the girls … went behind our backs and tried to make a separate deal for a spinoff just for herself and devastated the rest of us who we all, you know, I had booked Palm Royale, another girl is working. I’m just saying it was for a 40-year friendship and sisterhood, there was tidal wave of emotion around it.”
Show host Michael Hitchcock said that Cohn’s co-star was a “greedy bitch,” to which Cohen said, “You know what, Michael Hitchcock. Greedy bitch. I’ll say it.”
"It’s dead. It’s very dead,” Cohn said of the Facts of Live revival. “A couple of people can’t move past it, don’t want to move past it. We are not as united. Let me put it that way. We were united for 40 years over not talking about each other, not doing dirty, not, you know, all for one, one for all, and this kind of wrecked that, which is sad. Really sad.”
Lewis insisted on having Cohn revealed the name of her co-star to which she said, “I am so not gonna tell you, but I think you could guess. No. I mean, I won’t nod or say anything, but I’m just saying, ‘Okay. It’s not me,’ and then if you go on my Instagram and see who I’m…”
She continued, “I will not deny or confirm, however, what it is is really sad, but what we were talking about before, you know, during coffee is that some people are so desperate for either money or fame that it causes them to do things that to me, I guess I’m still not that jaded. It shocks me."

I am a huuuuge Fred Armisen fan. And secretly I've always had a low key crush on him. So it wounds me a little to hear the, sigh, great news that Fred has been married for two years to actress and comedian Riki Lindhome.
And that's not all! So the two have known each other for 15 years. The two were reunited when Fred guessed starred on Wednesday, which Riki is a cast member of.
And at that time Riki was fulfilling her dream of having a child which she conceived with a doner egg and sperm, using a surrogate. She gave birth just weeks after they started dating! She welcomed her son Keaton on March 1, 2022.
She told People.com that she came right out and told Fred he didn't have to enter a relationship that included a newborn.
“He didn't get to meet Keaton until three weeks after he was born because he was still working. And I said, ‘All I want is the truth. If you feel in your gut that's not for you, it doesn't make you a jerk. I'm not mad at you,” she told him. “I said, ‘I still think you're the best. I just want you to really feel what you feel. And then be honest about it because it's a big life-altering thing.’ And he said, ‘Okay, okay.’”
Lindhome didn’t want to pressure her boyfriend. After all, they had only been dating a few weeks. “I told him, ‘So you just tell me what your heart says, and he said ‘Yes.’ It was just insta-family, basically,” she says, laughing.
While the two worked together on set for two months, Lindhome wanted to tell Armisen how she felt. “I knew that I was starting to have feelings for him, and I wanted to go on a date. That's what I knew. So I was like, 'Okay, let's explore,' she remembers. “Then it unfolded naturally over time. I wasn't like, ‘You're the dad.’ I was like, ‘I want to have dinner with you.’ My thought was, ‘I want to kiss you. I want to see you.’ Then it just kept going.”

It's really madness how many times the decades long show The Simpsons has predicted something that happens in the future.
The show has been thought to have predicted everything from Donald Trumps presidency to the Titanic Submarine implosion.
And way back in 1996 the show had Homer joining a music festival as a side show freak and one scene has stage hands wondering what band ordered the London Symphony Orchestra to play back up. The speculation is that the rappers Cypress Hill did.
The scene goes; “Who is playing with the London Symphony Orchestra?” he asks. “Come on, people. Somebody ordered the London Symphony Orchestra. Possibly while high? Cypress Hill, I’m looking in your direction.”
And last week the LSO had the pleasure of playing with the band just as predicted.
At last week’s concert, the orchestra performed “unique orchestral arrangements” of Cypress Hill’s most well-known songs, according to the event website.

Not the case in the Costinesti, Romania where they were holding the "Beach Please" music festival, which Wiz was headlining.
According to French news organization Agence France Presse the authorities allegedly found cannabis in his possession in the early hours of Sunday, July 14.
According to the outlet, cannabis is considered a "risk drug" under Romanian law, and if Khalifa is convicted, he could face up to 10 years in prison.
The Romanian anti-organized crime prosecutors organization DIICOT said in a statement to the French outlet on Sunday that the "See You Again"rapper smoked the drug onstage during his performance.
"During a performance at a music festival held in the resort of Costinesti, the accused was found to have possessed more than 18 grams of cannabis and to have consumed (onstage) another quantity in the form of a handmade cigarette," DIICOT said in its statement.
A source who spoke with the outlet also alleged that Khalifa was taken in for questioning by local authorities early on Sunday along with several other people. He was charged but released soon after.
The Dickinson actor shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) about his arrest shortly after being released.
"Last nights show was amazing. I didn’t mean any disrespect to the country of Romania by lighting up on stage," he wrote. "They were very respectful and let me go. I’ll be back soon. But without a big ass joint next time."
The investigation is ongoing, AFP reported.

It might surprise some of you that Ellen Degeneres actually considers herself still in show business. The comedian hasn't had her extremely popular talk show in a few years and last we heard was somewhat canceled for being nasty to her staff.
But actually, Ellen has begun a country wide stand up tour called "Ellens Last Stand...Up".
During the audience Q&A part of the show at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts in Santa Rosa, one fan asked if DeGeneres would return to movies after the tour ended or perhaps try her hand at Broadway.
“Um, no,” DeGeneres answered matter-of-factly. “This is the last time you’re going to see me. After my Netflix special, I’m done.”
Another fan pushed DeGeneres to once again voice the character Dory from Pixar’s “Finding Nemo” and “Finding Dory,” but DeGeneres responded: “No, I’m going bye-bye, remember.”
