I think we were all shocked when we read Matthew Perry's seemingly unprovoked shade on Keanu Reeves in his new memoir. But it seems no one was more surprised than Keanu.
Page Six says one of those "sources" we all love and "trust" tells them that Keanu found the comments out of left field.
You recall in Perry's memoir he recalled losing his good friend River Phoenix tragically to an overdose and added “Why is it that the original thinkers like River Phoenix and Heath Ledger die, but Keanu Reeves still walks among us?”
He also later in the book made a similar statement of lose adding "and Keanu lives".
Matthew has since apologized saying he chose Keanu's name at random, but absolutely no one is buying that.
“Keanu thought the comments came out of left field,” a source told Us Weekly Friday.
I really want to hear a more detailed statement. NO ONE talks smack about my Keanu.

This time Bono is recalling the time he was having a few beers with the ex president while he was still in the White House.
Bono recounted how he found himself asleep in the White House's Lincoln Bedroom in an interview with Zoe Ball on BBC Radio 2 to promote his new memoir Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story.
He said "The 44th president of the United States - he mixes cocktails. He doesn't have too many, he's very measured,' said Bono, adding that, 'he does make strong cocktails, though, just saying."
At that point of the evening Obama asked where Bono had gotten to and his wife said he's "just gone off for a sleep".
Bono recalled, "She said, "He has to, he just has to go for these sleeps, he'll be back in 10 minutes. I've been with him for 30 years, don't you worry a thing about him, Mr. President. I'll go find him.''.
But Obama insisted on coming with her and remembered he had been speaking with Bono about Lincoln's historic Gettysburg Address.
That's when he knew to look in the Lincoln Bedroom, Bono recalled on the radio show.
'He just woke me up and laughed. President laughed his head off,' Bono said.
But apparently, Obama doesn't believe that Bono has an allergy.
'He does tell people that he drinks me under the table, he doesn't believe the allergy thing.'
Ok. That's a pretty baller story to have in your arsenal.

But it seems the two have bridged that gap one last time for ‘Flip Or Flop: The Final Flip’!
“Surprise….! One last episode of Flip or Flop: The Final Flip, coming your way Thursday, Dec. 1, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on @hgtv,” Hall posted on Instagram. “The one-hour special also will be available to stream the same day on [Discovery+].”

It's been a rough few months for late night host James Corden. He's stepped down from his show to return to England and then got banned from Balthazar for being rude to the help and now joke stealing?
James issued an apology to his fellow Brit, Ricky Gervais, for "stealing" a 2018 joke of Ricky's "word for word" to use in his late show.
The joke, attached below, shows the comparisons of a joke Ricky made about Twitter users over reacting to nonsense. The two are the same.
Gervais retweeted a clip of Corden repeating his joke on The Late Late Show last night, and said in a since deleted tweet: 'The bit about the town square advert for guitar lessons is brilliant.'
He later said he deleted the original tweet because he 'felt sorry for Corden'.
James later took to Twitter to sheepishly apologize for the theft.
"Inadvertently told a brilliant Ricky Gervais joke on the show last night, obviously not knowing it came from him. It's brilliant, because it's a Ricky Gervais joke. You can watch all Ricky's excellent specials on Netflix," Corden wrote.

Stargirl gave me a lot of hope for the future of female superheroes. The show was popular right out of the gate and seemed to hold their audiance going into season 2.
But viewership dropped sharply this year and couple that with the CW being sold to Nextstar and the show seemed doomed.
CW has dramatically reduced its volume of U.S. scripted originals.
“Stargirl has always held a special place in my heart for many reasons,” Explained show created Geoff Johns in a statement Monday. “With all the brewing changes at the network, we were aware this was possibly the last season, so we wrote with that in mind and have delivered what I believe to be the best season of Stargirl yet, with complete creative closure. Jihan was crushed in the narrow city streets which also left more than 100 people injured, Billboard reported Sunday, citing the star's agencies, 935 Entertainment and 9Ato Entertainment.
935 Entertainment also addressed Lee's tragic death on Instagram Sunday, alongside an image of a plain black square posted in mourning.
"I am heartbroken to [share] sad news," the translation for the caption said before going on to say that Lee "has become a star in the sky and left us" after his "sudden death."
