Weatherman Al Roker raised some concerns when he wasn't on set for the Today Show this week. The morning staple had told us two years ago he had prostate cancer and people were fearful it was something to do with that.
But Al put the rumors to rest this morning posting a pretty scary answer to his Instagram. Seems he had blood clots in his legs and lungs!
“So many of you have been thoughtfully asking where I’ve been. Last week I was admitted to the hospital with a blood clot in my leg which sent some clots into my lungs,” he continued. “After some medical whack-a-mole, I am so fortunate to be getting terrific medical care and on the way to recovery.”
The 68-year-old concluded by thanking his fans for their “well-wishes and prayers,” adding, “Hope to see you soon. Have a great weekend, everyone.”
So there is no word on when he'll return, but at least we know he's getting the attention he needs!

It's a little convoluted but stick with me. On Tuesday Jimmy Fallon learned he was trending on Twitter in a less-than-desirable way. He was being presumed dead.
The hashtag #RIPJimmyFallon was trending on twitter in a meme that had people paying respect to the tv host but attaching a photo of a different celebrity.
It's actually quite amusing:
This seemed to concern Jimmy who then took the matter straight to Elon Musk, the troubled new owner of Twitter.
"Elon, Can you fix this? #RIPJimmyFallon" Jimmy text to the billionaire. "Fix What?" Elon responded.
It doesn't seem that Jimmy ever got satisfaction from Elon, but the matter has seemed to mostly die out. Jimmy was back to tweeting normally noting " It’s not family movie night until you remember way too late about that one scene."

As you likely know, Jay Leno, 72, was at his Los Angeles mansion on Saturday when one of his many vehicles 'erupted into flames without warning' - with sources telling TMZ the left side of his face was burned.
Leno said: "I got some serious burns from a gasoline fire. I am ok. Just need a week or two to get back on my feet."
The host said that he was repairing a clogged fuel line when he got sprayed on his hands and face with gasoline.
Leno was taken to the burn ward at Grossman Burn Center according to TMZ, with his eye and ear not affected by the fire. On Monday, Page Six reported that Leno may need skin grafts as a result of the burns.
George Swift, a mechanic in the comedian's personal garage, told ET that it was a steam car that sent Leno to the hospital.
"It was a steam car. This steam was made by gas. It got sprayed, as a gas," Swift, a mechanic who works at the garage, said.
'He called me, and he told me there was a fire and the fire department is coming,' the employee continued.
In a separate interview with Access Hollywood, Swift said that Leno is 'going to be fine.' He added: 'It's nothing life-threatening. He's in great spirits, but you know, it's going to take a while.'

A few months ago Jojo Siwa said Candace Cameron Bure was the meanest celeb she met. After talking to Candace, Jojo apologized, saying she was just a kid when she met Cameron and didn't understand celebs can't always stop and take photos.
But now she's got a real reason to feel offended and I back her at every turn.
Candace and her brother Kirk Cameron were both hot actors back in the 80s. She on full house and he the hunky star of Growing Pains. But the two became super christians soon after and since then they live like it's 1920.
Most recently Candace sat down with the Wall Street Journal and said she intends to "keep traditional marriage at the core" of her partnership with the Great American Family channel.
In other words, marriage between one man and one woman. And of course Jojo Siwa is a proud gay woman.
Siwa wrote on Instagram: "Honestly, I can't believe after everything that went down just a few months ago, that she would not only create a movie with intention of excluding LGBTQIA+, but then also talk about it in the press. This is rude and hurtful to a whole community of people."
