Kim Kardashian is refusing to cut ties with the fashion house Balenciaga, despite a controversy involving the fashion house that saw the company linked to a fashion shoot that placed children alongside BDSM-themed items.

Kardashian, who has been in business with the company for several years spoke out days after the company had already apologized for the scandal.

The reality TV star, 42, said that while she was 'shaken' and 'disgusted' to see the images in the controversial ad campaign, she had wanted to speak with officials at the designer to understand how it came to be.

Clearly embarrassed by their ill-judged campaign, Balenciaga took the drastic step of wiping its social media pages clean. 

'I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven't been shocked and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened,' the Los Angeles-born celebrity said in a statement on her Instagram page.

Cara died in her Florida home of an undisclosed cause. She was 63.

Her publicist confirmed her death to Eyewitness News.

"It is with profound sadness that on behalf of her family I announce the passing of Irene Cara," publicist Judith A. Moose wrote.

Cara was trained in music, dance and acting as a child and appeared on stage and on television, including appearances on PBS and on Johnny Carson's "The Tonight Show," at a young age in the 1970s.

But she rocketed to fame when she was cast in the 1980 musical "Fame." She was initially cast as a dancer but then had the role of Coco Hernandez written for her and she sang the title track.

She was nominated for two Grammys after "Fame," for Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Artist.

I wont lie. I wasn't familiar with Aaron Taylor Johnson prior to his being mentioned as a top choice for the next chapter in the Bond movies.

The actor has been in several high profile films. Kick Ass, Quick Silver in the Avengers and most recently in Bullet Train with Brad Pitt. But the chance to take over a franchise is every actors dream.

Aaron is said to have impressed producer Barbara Broccoli during an audition at Pinewood Studios, where many of the franchise's films have been filmed.

A source told The Sun: 'Aaron went for a screen test to be the next Bond in September and producers and Barbara loved him. He is now one of the front-runners.'

Jay Leno was released from Grossman Burn Center in Los Angeles on Monday. The funny man was being treated for burns he suffered while working on his car in his personal garage.

But Paparazi caught Jay driving down the street in his 2002 Mercedes and asked him how he was feeling.

"Everything's OK," Leno said while laughing. He admitted that he's ready to go back to work, too, and will be "performing Sunday at the Comedy Magic Club." When told to get some rest, Leno quipped, "Yeah, I need barbecue."

The car connoisseur had burns across the left side of his face and showed had deep scabs on his hands as he held onto the steering wheel while on a joyride in L.A.

Oscar winner Sir Ben Kingsley stars as the titular Salvador Dalí, and Ezra Miller plays the younger version of the world-renowned 20th century artist.

Dalíland tells the story of the later years of the strange and fascinating marriage between the genius Salvador Dalí and his wife, Gala (Barbara Sukowa), as their seemingly unshakable bond begins to stress and fracture. Set in New York and Spain in 1974, the story is told through the eyes of James (Christopher Briney), a young assistant who’s keen to make his name in the art world and helps the eccentric and mercurial Dalí prepare for a big gallery show. Rupert Graves, Suki Waterhouse and Andreja Pejic also star.

“Ben Kingsley wonderfully inhabits Salvador Dalí’s persona, and Barbara Sukowa is his match in this suitably wild and entertaining film from Mary Harron,” said Magnolia Pictures President Eamonn Bowles.

Stalkers are terrifying. They are mentally unstable people who often have delusions about what their relationship is with their victims.

Such is the case with Natalia Bryant, the 19 year old daughter of Kobe Bryant.

Natalia is a student at USC and is seeking protection from Dwayne Cortez Toliver Kemp, 32, of Sun Valley, California.

The filing states that Kemp allegedly started to harass her on social media in 2020 when she was just 17-years-old and he was 30.

Since 2020 Kemp, described in the filing as an online gun enthusiast, began messaging her on social media as if they had a romantic relationship, or as if he wanted to initiate such a relationship, the filing stated. She never met him but was fearful as he sent kissing faces, and hearts and threatened to make unwanted in-person contact with her, it said.

Kemp also showed up on school campus on November 2nd and was seen on surveillance lurking in the halls of school.

Lets hope this temp restraining order is enough to put a stop to it all.

Reality TV star Todd Chrisley and his wife Julie were both sentenced today on bank fraud and tax evasion charges.

The pair we found guilty last month and Monday they were sentenced. Todd to 12 years and Julie to 7 years.

Prior to the sentencing, prosecutors had recommended nearly 22 years behind bars for Todd, 53, and 12 years for Julie, 49, after the “Chrisley Knows Best” stars were found guilty of multiple charges in June.

Todd and Julie asked for a new trial because they claim a witness lied on the stand, but the court denied that request.

The “unprecedented archive” of 42 letters written by Dylan — then Robert Zimmerman — to his high school sweetheart, Barbara Ann Hewitt came to auction last week in Boston. Netting a cool $669,875!

In 1958, Zimmerman was already dreaming of changing his name and selling a million records, aspirations he shared with Hewitt in his missives. He wrote about preparing for the local talent show, shared short pieces of poetry, and continually professed his affections for Hewitt, according to RR Auction.

Hewitt’s letters from Dylan remained in her possession until her death in 2020, the auction house said. Presumably, her family is now selling them.

Cheryl Burke says she's been "non stop crying" since making the decision to leave 'Dancing with the Stars' after 17 years and 26 seasons.

"It has been very emotional. There [are] a lot of emotions and there's lots of excitement, but there's also lots of fear. At the end of the day, this is actually maybe another divorce in a way that I'm going through in one year," Cheryl said on Sunday.

Burke became a household name from the show, but says it's taken it's toll.

"Lately I've talked a lot about how my body — it just hurts," Burke shares. For me as a dancer, as a woman, unfortunately, this is what happens as an athlete as well. There comes a time where —I'm almost 40 years old. I'm 38, and I have certain expectations I set for myself. Sometimes, if I don't see what I want to see or think that I am producing, that has a lot to do with it. But then also, it has a lot to do with growth in general."

The show has taken a toll not only physically on Burke, but mentally too, and she's looking forward to going easier on herself.

"At the end of the day, it's my sobriety as well," the Burke in the Game podcast host says. "I feel like I really have evolved and have just done a lot of work within myself and to continue to be judged, to continue to worry about my body, to continue to worry about if I look good or not look good in a costume is not where I am at today."

Life-long best friends Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are extending their friendship to business partners as they start up their own production company.

The company, called Artists Equity, would be an artist-led studio with the hopes of empowering filmmakers’ creative visions through entrepreneurial partnerships.

The production company’s first project will feature Affleck in front of and behind the camera as director and cast member while Damon stars in a the real-life story behind the creation of the iconic Air Jordan brand. The project is slated for release in 2023 in partnership with Amazon Studios, Skydance Sports and Mandalay Pictures and is one of three projects the company anticipates in 2023.

Writer and Poet, Aurielle Marie, was won the Georgia Author of the Year in poetry for her book Gumbo Ya Ya. And this caused Out Magazine to name her one of their Top100 of the year.

Out Magazine is a premiere LGBTQ magazine that annually recognizes those in the LGBTQ community who are making their mark. And with that honor comes a ticket to their annual Gala. This, Aurielle thought, might be a problem.

Big girls, especially those without tons of money, have few options when it comes to gowns and gala attire. So Aurielle did what many would think was silly... she made a tiktok to Lizzo.

"Someone asked me, 'Well, how do you want to feel?'" the author said. "I want to look and feel like how Lizzo did, walking up to accept her Emmy at the 2022 Emmys in that voluptuous, sexy, amazing masterpiece of a dress."

"So, I asked!" she said. "I didn't think she would even see it, let alone see it and care, let alone see it, care and say yes. She did, and I am now — I can confidently say — the most fabulously dressed person at the Out100, thanks to Lizzo."
