Jane Fonda’s cancer in remission

Amazing news for Jane Fonda! Her cancer is in remission!

Jane took to instagram to share the news on Thursday. In September, Fonda revealed she was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

"Last week I was told by my oncologist that my cancer is in remission and I can discontinue chemo," Fonda wrote on alongside a photo of her at a climate rally in Washington, D.C.

"I am feeling so blessed, so fortunate," the 84-year-old actress continued. "I thank all of you who prayed and sent good thoughts my way. I am confident that it played a role in the good news."

She continued "I’m especially happy because while my first 4 chemo treatments were rather easy for me, only a few days of being tired, the last chemo session was rough and lasted 2 weeks making it hard to accomplish much of anything. The effects wore off just as I went to D.C. for the first live, in-person Fire Drill Fridays rally. Thank heavens for that because it was a busy week. Besides the rally, I did some lobbying and spoke twice at the Democracy Alliance all in an effort to stop Senator Joe Manchin’s side deal which climate activists call the Dirty Deal. This deal, called ‘permitting reform,’ seeks to fast track fossil fuel projects, does great harm to bedrock environmental protections and curtails the public‘s ability to have input, basically throwing marginalized communities disproportionately burdened by fossil fuel pollution under the bus."

So happy for Jane and what an amazing Christmas for her and her family!

Henry Cavill says he was fired from Superman franchise

Henry Cavill was Superman in the last couple turns of the superhero franchise. A franchise that's been dead for a while now. And in that time it seems he's aged a little too much to be a believable crime fighter.

The British actor, 39, most recently has a cameo appearance as Superman at the end of Warner Bros. Black Adam, teasing a showdown between Superman and Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam.

That came just days before James Gunn and Peter Safran were brought on as the new heads of DC Films.

Cavill took to Instagram on Wednesday to reveal the news to his 22.9 million followers that he will not be back as the Man of Steel on the big screen.

'I have just had a meeting with James Gunn and Peter Safran and it's sad news, everyone. I will, after all, not be returning as Superman,' Cavill began.

'After being told by the studio to announce my return back in October, prior to their hire, this news isn't the easiest, but that's life,' he added.

'The changing of the guard is something that happens. I respect that. James and Peter have a universe to build,' he added.

'I wish them and all involved with the new universe the best of luck, and happiest of fortunes,' he added.

The actor went on to address, 'those who have been by my side through the years,' adding, 'we can mourn for a bit,' before addressing the future of the franchise.

'But then we must remember.... Superman is still around. Everything he stands for still exists, and the examples he sets for us are still there!' Cavill said.

'Everything he stands for still exists, and the examples he sets for us are still there! My turn to wear the cape has passed, but what Superman stands for never will. It's been a fun ride with you all, onwards and upwards!' Cavill concluded.

Shortly after Cavill's statement on Instagram, DC Films head James Gunn took to Twitter to elaborate on the future of the beloved Superman character.

'Peter & I have a DC slate ready to go, which we couldn’t be more over-the-moon about; we’ll be able to share some exciting information about our first projects at the beginning of the new year,' Gunn began.

I want to offer a trigger warning. The famed DJ and musical accompanier to Ellen Degeneres died of suicide at the age of 40.

According to TMZ Stephen's wife Allison Holker ran into an LAPD station Tuesday to say that Twitch had left home without his car, which was unusual.

Holker tells TMZ, "Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him."

She continues, "He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans. To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt. I am certain there won’t be a day that goes by that we won’t honor his memory."

Concluding, "Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you."

Ellen said in a statement: 'I'm heartbroken. tWitch was pure love and light. He was my family, and I loved him with all my heart.

'I will miss him. Please send your love and support to Allison and his beautiful children - Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia.'

So sad. It shows you the power of that internal pain so many of us suffer from.

IF YOU OR A LOVED ONE IS SUFFERING FROM DEPRESSION OR THOUGHTS OF SUICIDE THERE IS HELP AVAILABLE!!! IF YOU'RE IN THE US JUST DIAL 988. OR CALL 800-273-TALK (8255). SOMEONE LOVES YOU VERY MUCH.

Jonah Hill sells Malibu Colony home

As soon as I came across this house on dirt.com I knew I had to share it. This moody in a good way home went through a bit of a transformation when Jonah bought the place under two years ago. For starters the entire house was paint black.

And just the breezy bungalow feel of the palm fill rooms and earthy tones. It really feels chill. Then you go out back and there's complete privacy with a pool and full kitchen.

From the second floor there's a deck off the primary bedroom. But don't let the pics of the beach access fool you. This home is across the street from the beach front homes. Not on the beach itself. I assume the access show here is a community access. Which, it's a private road, so now one is going on it but neighbors.

Sold: $11,100,000 4 beds, 4 baths, 3,653 square ft with pool and sun deck.

Captain Lee leaving Below Deck

Captain Lee Rosbach is leaving the Bravo show Below Deck after ten seasons and 4 spin offs.

The show is now a Bravo staple that spawned Below Deck Meditoranian, Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Below Deck Down Under, and Below Deck Adventure, which is currently airing it's first season.

But the captain that started it all was Captain Lee and now, because of an ongoing health issue, he is forced to leave the show he loves.

Rosbach was admittedly struggling with nerve issues when he boarded motor yacht St. David at the start of charter season, but he hoped his symptoms would subside over time. Instead, he shared in a confessional interview: "My injury, it's getting worse. The left side of my body, I don't feel anything:"

He continued, "I expected a lot more progress than I'm experiencing, and the most frustrating part about it is, I can't do a god d--- thing about it, and it's hard."

As Monday's episode went on, Rosbach realized he had to consider that his health concerns might have an impact on the whole boat. "The pain's getting worse, not better. I owe it to my crew to do right by them. They expect that out of me," he said.

"There comes a point if a captain is really being objective, he should be putting the best interests of his crew first because that's your primary responsibility," he affirmed. "As soon as you step on board, check your f---ing ego at the dock. That's where you leave it."

At the end of the hour, he called an all-hands meeting, telling his crew: "As you guys know, I've been struggling with my mobility, and it's been hard. And I've let you guys down, and for that I apologize. So I've made a decision to leave the boat."

No word on who will replace (as if you could) the captain, but I sure hope it's that sexy Australian man from Below Deck Down Under.

Dua Lipa dating Jack Harlow

Dua Lipa and rapper Jack Harlow at Vanity party

Dua Lipa's adding more star notches to her belt. The British-Albanian singer was last known to be dating Daily Show host Trevor Noah, but that's ended.

Now Page 6 reports she's dating musician Jack Harlow.

Jacks last album came out in May and contains a song titled "Dua Lipa" in which he sings "Dua Lipa, I'm tryna do more with her than do a feature (do it)". So does this prove serenading a lady pays off?

Harlow says he called Lipa before the album came out to get her blessing. And, and that while he got a somewhat awkward response, she gave him the nod.

But then the two met again this November at the Variety Hitmakers Brunch in Los Angeles and the two hit it off.

Meanwhile, according to a source, “he was very interested in her, and was going to strongly pursue [the romance].”

Insiders say he even flew to New York City to meet up with her after her Z100 Jingle Ball appearance on Friday.

First look at ‘Joker’ sequel

Joaquin Phoenix is ready to put the make up back on and become the joker.

The Academy Award winner is reprising his role as Arthur Fleck (a.k.a. Joker) and Todd Phillip captured the first day of filming.

"Day 1. Our boy. #joker," Phillips, 51, captioned the image, which shows Phoenix's shirtless Fleck getting a shave with his head tilted back over a sink at Arkham Asylum.

Phoenix teased a potential sequel last October after Phillips was in talks to helm a follow-up to the film that grossed more than $1 billion worldwide.

"I mean, I dunno. From when we were shooting, we started to — you know, uhh, this is an interesting guy," Phoenix told The Playlist. "There are some things we could do with this guy and could [explore] further. But as to whether we actually will? I don't know."
