Twenty three pairs of Biggie Smalls Air Jordans sold for over $30K at an auction this week. The Sotheby’s auction closed on Friday (February 3), with the highest bid being a 9.5 and 10.5 pair for $32,760 each.
The shoes were created back in 2017 on what would have been Biggie's 45 birthday but they were kept under wraps to roll out for his 50th.
The Christopher Wallace Air Jordan XIII was created through a partnership with Jordan Brand and the Christopher Wallace Memorial Foundation to celebrate February 3, 2023 — or 2/3/23, representing NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan‘s jersey number — the commencement of the “Jordan Year.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger was not hurt on Sunday when he was involved in a car accident in West Los Angeles.
According to TMZ, the 75-year-old actor was driving around the city when a bicyclist 'suddenly swerved into his lane and made contact' with his car before he had a chance to slow down.
Three witnesses on the scene confirmed the details to TMZ as well as police.
The biker was taken to the hospital for her injuries and was last said to be in stable condition.

Meanwhile a show I personal thought was doomed from the start just got extended. "That 90's Show," the spinoff of "That 70's Show," has gotten a second season.
The cast and crew will return for the second season, which featured plenty of cameos from That ’70s Show stars. It will also take the show a year forward as it will take place in 1996.

I had a cousin who I saw only at Christmas who exclusively wore Paco Rabanne colone for his entire adult life (thus far). I remember after the pandemic when we returned to family gatherings immediately noting that his scent was something I didn't realize I desperately missed while celebrating in quarentine.
His death was announced on Instagram

So retired WWE star Kurt Angle was speaking on his podcast, The Kurt Angle Show, this week when he made the statement that set the internet aflutter.
Kurt claims he saw fellow WWE star Hulk Hogan backstage at a recent Raw XXX anniversary episode celebrating 30 years of the show and Hulk was unable to feel his lower half.
"Hogan had his back surgery again. He had the nerves cut from his lower body. He can’t feel his lower body, so he has to use his cane to walk around."
"I thought he was using the cane because he has pain in his back. He doesn’t have any pain. He has nothing at all. He can’t feel anything."
"So now he can’t feel his legs, so he has to walk with a cane. That’s pretty serious, man. I mean, I really feel for Hogan. He put his heart and soul into the business and it ate him up."
But I want to just note that if Hogan is walking with help from a cane, I think it's misleading to say he can't feel his lower half. It's more likely he has wide numbness.
Hogan has yet to issue a statement.

Lisa Loring, who made the legendary role of Wednesday Addam ROCK, has died.
Loring's passing was reported by her close friend Laurie Jacobson on Facebook Sunday. Jacobson reported, "It is with great sadness that I report the death of our friend, Lisa Loring. 4 Days ago she suffered a massive stroke brought on by smoking and high blood pressure. She had been on life support for 3 days. Yesterday, her family made the difficult decision to remove it and she passed last night. She is embedded in the tapestry that is pop culture and in our hearts always as Wednesday Addams."
"Beautiful, kind, a loving mother," she went on. "Lisa's legacy in the world of entertainment is huge. And the legacy for her family and friends -- a wealth of humor, affection and love will long play in our memories. RIP, Lisa. Damn, girl...you were a ton of fun."
