A number of you may not even know who Procul Harum is. Their band, at least by name, isn't heard very often. But they had one song in particular that many legendary musicians have said is one of the most well-crafted songs ever written. It's called "Whiter Shade of Pale". (video below)
Keith Reid wrote the bands songs. Now the band is confirming he has passed away at age 76.
“We are sad to hear of the death of Keith Reid,” a statement on Procol Harum’s Facebook page read. “An unparalleled lyricist Keith wrote the words to virtually all Procol Harum songs, as well as co-writing the John Farnham hit ‘You’re the Voice.’ His lyrics were one of a kind and helped to shape the music created by the band. His imaginative, surreal and multi-layered words were a joy to Procol fans and their complexity by design was a powerful addition [to] the Procol Harum catalogue. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends.”

Bam Margera of 'Jack Ass' fame has had a number of public incidents relating to his ongoing addiction issues. Last night was just the latest.
According to TMZ, Bam went to a restaurant where his ex wife Nicole and 5 year old son were eating and caused a disturbance.
The cops were called at around 3:45 p.m. local time on Wednesday after the “Jackass” star allegedly yelled at a woman inside the Thai restaurant in Burbank, Calif.
Despite authorities trying to diffuse the situation, Margera, 43, was arrested and booked for misdemeanor public intoxication.
Bam has made claims that he is sober now, although police say that was definitely not the case last night.

Back in November of 2022, acclaimed writer and director Aaron Sorkin suffered a devastating stroke due to high blood pressure.
Speaking with the New York Times recently Sorkin recalled what his doctor said to him when he woke up in the hospital. "You're supposed to be dead."
Aaron said he never worried about the effects his lifestyle was having on him. "I thought I was one of those people who could eat whatever he wanted, smoke as much as he wanted, and it's not going to affect me. Boy, was I wrong."
Sorkin added later, “There was a minute when I was concerned that I was never going to be able to write again, and I was concerned in the short-term that I wasn’t going to be able to continue writing ‘Camelot.’”
Aaron says his choice to go public with the stroke was to help others. “if it’ll get one person to stop smoking, then it’ll be helpful.” Sorkin said for a long period of time he was smoking two packs of cigarettes a day.

Such was the case this weekend in Tokyo with Harry Styles and Emily Ratajkowski.
Harry is in Japan for his "Love on Tour" concert and Emily seems to have just come along to keep him company. Harry just recently ended his relationship with Olivia Wilde and Emily is in the process of getting a divorce.

Brie Larson has seemingly confirmed she's once again a bachelorette.
The Marvel actress was dating the director Elijah Allan-Blitz since the summer of 2019, but indicated in an interview this week she was alone.
While speaking with Harper's Bazaar for the publication's April issue Brie said "I don't have a next job. I don't have a home. I don't have a partner. I don't have a plan. I'm just completely open."
That's pretty hard to missunderstand.
The two worked together in 2020 on 'The Messy Truth VR Experience' which earned an Emmy win in the outstanding original interactive program category.
Brie's pretty private about her personal life, so we suspect that will be the last we hear about the break up.

Showtime made this announcement last night. The reboot of the super popular 'The L Word', has been canceled on the cable channel. But there still may be a new future for L Word.
Deadline has reported that Showtime is currently developing The L Word: New York (working title), a full reboot of the series, with a whole new continuity (and with series co-creator Ilene Chaiken reportedly still somehow involved).
Sex in the City style? Who knows.
Deadline also noted that Generation Q is just the latest Showtime show not to get renewed since Viacom announced it was folding the network into its Paramount+ branding.
Lots of streamers have been accused of canceling shows without giving them a chance. Something streamers were once known for being patient with and why actors flocked to the services to work.

Here's the deal. Singer Afroman wasn't home in late August, 2022, when Cincinnati law enforcement conducted a raid on his home. But there were cameras there. They were everywhere. And they caught every step of the raid.
Fast forward a few months and Afroman releases two videos called "Lemon Pound Cake" and "Will You Help Me Repair My Door." In these music videos you can see the footage of the police going through everything he owns while Afroman sings "Is there a 1,000lbs of weed in my suit pockets".
In the footage it's clear cops are taking advantage of their time in the home and Afroman alleges police stole from him as well. And the raid never led to any arrests.
Police are now suing Afroman for using their likeness in a video. Afroman is countering.
Anna Castellini, an attorney for Afroman (real name Joseph Foreman) said in a statement shared on his Instagram that they "are planning to counter-sue for the unlawful raid, money being stolen, and for the undeniable damage this had on my client's family, career and property."
