In the 70's and 80's you couldn't have the radio on (Rock stations, at least) for an hour without hearing 'Stairway to Heaven'. It was constantly played. So much so that you were sick of it after a while.
But then when I got older I started to realize it's greatness all over again.
Led Zeppelin is, for me and many others, the greatest rock band of all time. And 'Stairway to Heaven' is their most recognizable song. So I am so thrilled to hear it will go into the National Recording Registry and be recognized for eternity.
On Wednesday, Librarian Of Congress Carla Hayden named 25 recordings to the list "as audio treasures worthy of preservation for all time based on their cultural, historical or aesthetic importance in the nation's recorded sound heritage."
"The National Recording Registry preserves our history through recorded sound and reflects our nation's diverse culture," Hayden said. "The national library is proud to help ensure these recordings are preserved for generations to come, and we welcome the public's input on what songs, speeches, podcasts or recorded sounds we should preserve next. We received more than 1,100 public nominations this year for recordings to add to the registry."

On a regular day I find Meghan to be exasperating, but this is just too much.
According to several sources, the reason Meghan will not be joining her husband Harry at the coronation of King Charles is because it will be on the same day as her son Archie's birthday.

I mean I have my views of the royals and I find the whole thing rather ridiculous. That people are still seen as kings and princes in 2023 is ghastly. But the coronation of a king is a pretty big deal. As in historic. Lil Archie can go with his friends to Sky Zone next weekend.

Rumor wont seem to die down over the possibility of Keanu Reeves starring in a Broadway musical.
The musical in question would be Samuel Beckett’s famed play, “Waiting for Godot.”
But Keanu has said before that he would love to be in a musical, if only he could sing. “I would love to be in a musical,” Reeves reportedly said. “But I can’t sing so I’m not sure anybody else would want me in a musical… but I sure would try. I mean I could sing, but not really well. I can always dream.”
That's ok. They'll teach you to sing.
