And art is all about expressing ones feelings and opinions. But I don't see what the closing of museums and galleries do to send a message and I am glad to see the direction taken by some of our countries finest art houses. Major muse...

Judy Garland’s childhood home on market

There’s no place like Judy Garland‘s childhood home, which, surprisingly enough, is located in Lancaster, CA, a good hour-and-a-half drive northeast of Los Angeles. Garland was born Frances Ethel Gumm in 1922 in Grand Rapids, MI, and her family headed west in 1926. In search of the limelight, the budding star and father Frank, mother Ethel, and older sisters Mary Jane and Virginia settled in Southern California in the late 1920s.

Burt Reynolds to drive his Bandit Trans Am onto auction block

screenshot-s1.cdn.autoevolution.com 2017-01-17 00-13-50 Burt Reynolds will forever be synonymous with the Pontiac Trans Am. The Trans Am itself holds a special place in the hearts of many not only as a pony car icon, but as a star of Smokey and the Bandit. It only makes sense that Reynolds himself will drive his 1978 Pontiac Trans Am onto the stage at this year’s Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, according to Motor Authority. This will be Reynolds’ fourth Bandit-style Trans Am going under the hammer in recent years. The pheno...

Remember that crazy mansion built on spec (without a buyer) back in 2014 that was eventually sold for $70 million to the creator of Minecraft?  He bought it fully loaded. Cars, art, furniture, sheets on the bed.   Just like mega builder Bruce Makowsky likes it.  Well ol' Bruce is back with a bigger house for 3 times the price. Ringing in at an all time high price of $250 million dollars, is a 38,000 square foot manse in the tony Bel Air section of LA.   The place is beyond obnoxious, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Cate Blanchett Sells Amazing home in Australia

Second time might be the charm for Cate Blanchett, who finally found a buyer for her historic estate in Hunters Hill, Australia. Though the broker, Ken Jacobs, declined to give a selling price, the home was always listed for $20 million. Blanchett and her husband Andrew Upton have been trying to sell the home since 2015. They did find a buyer for it after only a month on the market, but that buyer, who was Chinese, later defaulted on the sale around the time that China started cracking down on its citizens buying foreign properties. Blanchett and Upton purchased the home in 2005 for $10 million, and poured $8 million into a three-year renovation project. It should come as a surprise to absolutely no one that Blanchett's home is the definition of taste. 2c5b77a6de8d2b03862ff9ddf86e8678f736724cSecond time might be the charm for Cate Blanchett, who finally found a buyer for her historic estate in Hunters Hill, Australia. Margot Robbie Transforms into Tonya Harding

Margot Robbie is gorgeous. The 5 Kinds of Rom-Com Posters

Romantic comedies are (arguably) the most formulaic of all movies, and studios use that rom-com formula to make a bunch of money with very little effort. Many fans enjoy the predictable nature of rom-coms, and will actually get upset if a film strays too far from the norm, so it’s no wonder filmmakers don’t even try to do anything different with the genre. In fact, romantic comedies are kept predictable right down to their poster layouts, of which there are around five types. 1.
