Queen front man Freddie Mercury died at the age of 45 back in 1991. At that time he left all his possessions with his dear friend Mary Austin.
Austin, who has kept Freddies items just as he left them in his home in the upscale Kensington neighborhood of London, said she had reached the "difficult decision" that it was time to sell it all, Sotheby's said.
There will be a LOT of high ticket items for Freddie personal memorabilia as well as his extensive art and designer treasures.

The auction is at Christies in September 2023. Here are a few items coming to the block.
The crown and accompanying cloak that Mercury wore while singing "God Save the Queen" during his final tour with Queen. ESTIMATE $75,000 - $100,000.

On Monday night a packed house at the Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Miss got some real bad news. Their concert was canceled because the singer lost his voice.
Country singer Morgan Wallen was set to come on stage in just minutes when the news was delivered via a loud voice and a message on a screen. And fans were FURIOUS. Like so so mad.
One such fan named Brandi Burcham filed a class action lawsuit “on behalf of herself and all other similarly situated” patrons who attended the show.
I 100% support this suit. Brandi's concern is that even though they are refunding fans for the ticket, they won't be refunded for all the other expenses incurred. Like those who drove in from out of town, baby sitters, parking costs, etc.
“Even if ticket prices are refunded, no offer has been made to reimburse concertgoers for other out-of-pocket expenses they incurred in connection with the concert cancellation, including transportation, lodging, food, merchandise sales, transaction fees and other such expenses,” the plaintiff added.

He died Tuesday of congestive heart failure at his New York home, his wife Pamela by his side, said publicist Ken Sunshine.
Born in Harlem on March 1, 1927, Belafonte's early years were spent living between there and Jamaica, where he briefly lived with one of his grandmothers.
He was a consummate activist and close personal friend of Martin Luther King jr. In Spike Lee’s 2018 film “BlacKkKlansman,” he was fittingly cast as an elder statesman schooling young activists about the country’s past.
Belafonte had been a major artist since the 1950s. He won a Tony Award in 1954 for his starring role in John Murray Anderson’s “Almanac” and five years later became the first Black performer to win an Emmy for the TV special “Tonight with Harry Belafonte.”

It's a news man free for all out here! This morning we saw Tucker Carlson get fired from Fox and now Don Lemon is being canned at CNN.
Lemon Tweeted his feelings on the matter today and he does not seem happy.
"I was informed this morning by my agent I have been terminated by CNN. I am stunned," Lemon wrote.
Lemon continued: "After 17 years at CNN I would have thought that someone in management would have had the decency to tell me directly. At no time was I ever given any indication that I would not be able to continue to do the work I have loved at the network. It is clear that there are some larger issues at play."
Lemon ended his statement with a thank you to his colleagues.
"With that said, I want to thank my colleagues and the many teams I have worked with for an incredible run," he wrote. "They are the most talented journalists in the business, and I wish them all the best."
CNN chairman Chris Licht confirmed Lemon's departure Monday in a statement obtained by The New York Times, which says: "CNN and Don have parted ways. Don will forever be a part of the CNN family, and we thank him for his contributions over the past 17 years. We wish him well and will be cheering him on in his future endeavors."
Licht continued: "CNN This Morning has been on the air for nearly six months, and we are committed to its success."

Now TMZ has obtained documents stating Drakes wife, 28 year old Von Schmeling, has officially filed for divorce.
The pair are parents to one-year-old son Wyatt Bell, who Von Schmeling is asking for primary legal and physical custody of.
Von Schmeling said that she is open to Bell receiving visitation of their son as part of a divorce agreement.
Drake has had ongoing drug and alcohol problems, so the idea she wants to ease into his parenting the child makes sense.
