The bills include HB 1151, which would amend the state's indecent exposure law to prohibit trans people from using bathrooms and locker rooms consistent with their gender identity; HB 836, which would allow taxpayer funded adoption & foster care agencies to discriminate against potential adoptive & foster families who don't share the agencies' beliefs; and...
Michelle Branch has been mostly out of the limelight and off the charts for the last few years, but it seems she was working on something more important. Finding love!
The "Everywhere" singer wed Patrick Carney of The Black Keys at the Marigny Opera House in New Orleans, People reported.
Taking to Instagram, Branch, 35, later posted a screenshot of People’s notification about the New Orleans nuptials, writing, “Can confirm.”
Friends of the newlyweds also posted snaps from the special occasion online, including the moment Branch and Carney, 39, walked down the aisle as husband and wife.
Branch announced her engagement to Carney in July 2017. She gave birth to the couple’s first child, son Rhys James, a year later.
This is Branch’s second marriage and Carney’s third. Branch wed Teddy Landau in 2004, later welcoming daughter Owen in 2005. Their divorce was finalized in 2015. As for Carney, he was previously wed to Denise Grollmus and Emily Ward. />

Jenny Mollen is candidly speaking out after she dropped her son Sid on his head causing him to fracture his skull.
Mollen, 39, revealed the news on Instagram Wednesday explaining that the 5-year-old, who she shares with husband Jason Biggs, had been in the intensive care unit this week.
“I am forever grateful to Lenox Hill downtown and @nyphospital for their immediate response and aid,” Mollen captioned a post, which shows herself flashing a somber smile while holding Sid, whose face is covered with an emoji. Biggs, 40, and Mollen do not show photos of their children’s faces on social media.
“Thank you to all of the nurses, neurologists, pediatricians, residents, cafeteria staff and brave women that keep the visitor’s bathroom clean.”
“Not sure how this post turned into an Oscars acceptance speech… But @biggsjason Thank god for you! Thank god, thank god, thank god.”
“It has been a traumatic week,” Mollen continued.
Despite the circumstances, Mollen said Sid is now home “taking things slowly and recovering nicely.” />

“Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek, who was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in March, gave a positive health update on the last day of taping the current season of the trivia show.
“Some of you may recall that at the beginning of this season, I promised you that we had some surprises for you,” he said in a video message posted Wednesday. “Well, of course, I had no idea at that time that there were some surprises in store for me as well. So here, on the last day of taping for our 35th anniversary season, I wanted once again to thank you for your continuing messages of encouragement and support, particularly the many cards I’ve received from young people. I’m touched beyond words.”
He continued, “I’ve always tried to be straight with you and I’m not going to stop now, so despite what you may have heard, I’m feeling good, I’m continuing with my therapy and we, by we, the staff, is already working on our next season, the 36th year of ‘Jeopardy!'”
He ended the message on a hopeful note, stating, “I look forward to seeing you once again in September with all kinds of good stuff.”
When Trebek, 78, first announced the diagnosis, he pledged to fight the disease.
“Truth told, I have to because under the terms of my contract, I have to host ‘Jeopardy!’ for three more years, so help me. Keep the faith and we will win. We will get it done,” he said at the time. />
