According to Britneys new book, "The Woman in Me," shot to number one on Amazon Tuesday when word got out the book would detail an abortion she got back when she was dating Justin Timberlake.
Now People Magazine has confirmed that in the tome she explains it was because Justin didn't want to be a father. Which, by the way, can be a very mature decision to make, but should still be a mutual one.
In an excerpt, she reveals, “It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated,” Spears, now 41, says. “But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young."
"If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father."
Spears writes of her experience undergoing the abortion: “To this day, it’s one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life."

The epic concert film that chronicles the Los Angeles leg of Taylor Swifts insanely successful Eras Tour Concert came to theaters everywhere this weekend. I, gleefully, was at one of those theaters.
The movie easily set a record for highest producing concert film after pulling in $95 - 97,000,000 in box office sales.
The actual numbers need to be crunched to know if it will be the highest grossing October opening weekend. The current top is 2019s Joker, which brought in $96.2m.
Meanwhile, another movie opening, The Exorcist: Believer, reached number two as it earned $11 million from 3,684 theaters, hitting a domestic total of $44.9 million, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Taylor, of course, spend the weekend hanging out with new beau Travis Kelce and was scene out with him at Nobu on Saturday night.

For most of us the record breaking Taylor Swift Era's Tour movie doesn't start until Friday, the 13th. But for a choice few at the Wednesday night preview, they got to see more than a blockbuster. They saw mega stars.

It's been one of the bigger divorces of 2023 and it seemed like it might linger in court for a long time. But Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have reached an agreement concerning their kids and finances.
The former couple will each get two weeks at a time with their daughters Willa, three, and Delphine, one, until January.
They will also be allowed to travel to anywhere in the US and the UK, meaning that Turner can bring the girls to England, which she claims will be their 'forever home.'
While Jonas will get to take the girls on tour with his band The Jonas Brothers, Turner will get to spend Christmas with them in the UK with her family.
The agreement comes after four days of intense mediation in New York, where the girls are currently staying with Turner. The resolution of custody of the children is expected to clear to way to finalizing the couple’s divorce.
Sophie, of course, is staying in New York city at Taylor Swifts house during court proceedings. She will now return to the UK with them, but must bring them back to mr Jonas by October 21st.

Last month when the writers strike was still in full swing, Drew Barrymore attempted to return to the airwaves in an effort to keep the show going with scabs in place of the regular writers. Now it's coming back to bite her.
The shows season 4 is set to return on October 16th. Her original bid to start the show during the strike was canceled after a great deal of backlash. But the existing writers, despite the strike being over, aren't willing to support the show that didn't support them.
All three co-head writers previously employed on Barrymore's program — Cristina Kinon, Chelsea White and Liz Koe — have declined offers to return, the Los Angeles Times has confirmed. The show is in the process of interviewing new writers in compliance with guild rules.
“I am so excited to see what Drew has in store for season four,” said Wendy McMahon, president of CBS Media Ventures, in a statement before the premiere was pushed back.

Kevin Spacey is rushed to hospital fearing a 'heart attack' after 'going numb in one arm' at the Tashkent International Film Festival.
Spacey, 64, said he feared he was suffering from a heart attack. After undergoing a series of tests, including an MRI, doctors gave him the all-clear, according to The Sun.
