I'f you're on Tiktok there's a good chance you know about the Royal Carribean Ultimate Cruise currently in motion. This is a 9 month cruise going all over the world and it's occupants (including one tiktok influencer flown on for content mid trip) are hearing rumors it may cut short.
The problem? The scads of problems actually. Namely Somali pirates, Houthi rebels, and an extremely volatile Middle East.
Like legit, when they get into the Suez Canal, the Gulf of Aden and a few other areas in there, they're up against a whole bunch of possible attacks. But the officials for Royal Caribean said no, this is not the case.
“The Ultimate World Cruise has given guests the opportunity to see the world in a unique way, and we have loved watching their reactions to this incredible experience. This adventure will complete its first segment in February, and we can’t wait to kick off the next part of the journey shortly after and begin exploring Asia," the statement says.
And while that all sounds fine and good, there have been cruises that have altered their paths recently to avoid the area. So we shall see.
The sailing will cover 11 world wonders and travel to more than 60 countries in 274 days. Prices for the full experience ranged from $53,999 per person to $117,599 per person.

TMZ obtained docs from the LA County Courts showing Carmen will be known from her out as Tara Leigh Patrick. A beautiful name in it's own right.

Tiger Woods has been so much a staple of the Nike brand that I was legit shook to hear the two were parting ways.
While at a recent PNC Champions event he said “I’m still wearing their product,” when asked if the split rumors were true.
On Monday the 15-time major champion took to social media to announce the end of his 27-year relationship with Nike and to thank founder Phil Knight.
“Over 27 years ago, I was fortunate to start a partnership with one of the most iconic brands in the world. The days since have been filled with so many amazing moments and memories, if I started naming them, I could go on forever,” Woods wrote. “Phil Knight’s passion and vision brought this Nike and Nike Golf partnership together and I want to personally thank him, along with the Nike employees and incredible athletes I have had the pleasure of working with along the way. People will ask if there is another chapter. Yes, there will certainly be another chapter. See you in LA!”

A grim way to close out the week learning that 'Speedracer' actor Christian Oliver as well as his two daughters, Madita, 10, and Annik, 12, were killed in a crash in the Caribbean.
A statement from the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force on Thursday said the incident occurred off the island of Bequia. The small single-engine aircraft was traveling from the J.F. Mitchell Airport in Paget Farm to St. Lucia.
“Moments after taking off, the aircraft experienced difficulties and plummeted into the ocean,” said the local authorities. “Fishermen and divers from Paget Farm went to the scene of the incident in their boats to render assistance. The SVG Coast Guard was informed and quickly traveled to Paget Farm, Bequia, to lead in the rescue efforts.”
The pilot was identified as Robert Sachs, was also killed.

Shecky Greene was a comedian at the near birth of stand up. As iconic as he was, all I know about him is he was the punch line for so many dads I knew as a kid. As in, "We've got a regular Shecky Greene here!".
Shecky was a Las Vegas act since the 50's and claimed he was making $150,000 a week ($800,000 in today’s currency) performing. (The majority of that money, he claimed, was frittered away on gambling and horse racing.)
One of Greene’s classic bits centered around his love-hate relationship with Frank Sinatra, who he once opened for in Miami Beach. “Frank Sinatra saved my life,” Greene would say, adding that Sinatra had his henchmen rough him up following a joke that offended the singer. “Five guys were beating me up and Frank said, ‘Okay, he’s had enough.’”
