According to a story Rebel made on her Instagram. The asshole is non other than the toxic Sacha Baron Cohen. The man who made a career out of imitating foreigners for laughs.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, she wrote: 'I will not be silenced by high priced lawyers or PR crisis managers. The a****** I am talking about in ONE CHAPTER of my book is: Sacha Baron Cohen.'
'I wrote about an a**hole in my book,' she told Instagram followers. 'Now, said a****** is trying to threaten me. He’s hired a crisis PR manager and lawyers.
'He is trying to stop press coming out about my book. But the book WILL come out and you will all know the truth.'
The Pitch Perfect star also claimed she would eventually name the male colleague, whose alleged behaviour prompted her to adopt a 'no a**holes policy' on set.
She wrote: 'When I first came to Hollywood, people were like, "Yeah, I have a no-a**holes policy that means, like, I don't work with a**holes." I was like, "Yeah, I mean, that sounds sensible and logical."
'But then it really sunk in what they were meaning by that, older people in the industry. Because I worked with a massive a**hole, and, yeah, now I definitely have a no-a**holes policy.
'Chapter one said a**hole — it is chapter 23, that guy was a massive a**hole.'
She added: 'Do you want to know who is the biggest a**hole I've ever worked with in Hollywood? Chapter 23 lists it all out! Do you wanna know why I have a 'no a**holes' policy now with people I work with?

Its been nearly 30 years since the original Happy Gilmore stole the hearts of frat boys everywhere. Now there's word Adam Sandler has a sequel in the works.
Christopher McDonald, who starred as Shooter McGavin in the 1996 flick alongside the 57-year-old comedian, revealed that a script already exists.
During his appearance on Friday's episode of The Ken Carman Show with Anthony Lima, McDonald revealed that he recently ran into Sandler, who unexpectedly showed him a first draft of the long-awaited sequel.
'I saw Adam [Sandler] about two weeks ago, and he says to me, 'McDonald, you're gonna love this,'' McDonald said. 'I said, 'What?' He says, 'How about that,' and he shows me the first draft of Happy Gilmore 2.'
He went on, "I don't wanna be a liar, but he did show me that, and I thought, 'Well, that would be awesome.' So, it's in the works,' McDonald continued. 'Fans demand it, dammit!'"
I wonder how Sandler will react to Chris letting the cat out of the bag!

I think the love and support Taylor Swift fans show in their excitement at concerts is pretty well documented by now. But did you know they rage so hard they literally shake the earth to a seismic level?
According to a study conducted by researchers at Caltech and UCLA, when the pop superstar, 34, brought her career-spanning concert to SoFi Stadium in August 2023, 70,000 Swifties' jumping and dancing amounted to creating seismic activity.
The event is the latest "Swift quake" to result from one of the Grammy winner's shows — as her July tour stop at Seattle's Lumen Field was similarly reported to have resulted in seismic activity the "equivalent of a 2.3 magnitude earthquake" last year.
The researchers released their findings in a report that was published on Wednesday and titled "Shake to the Beat: Exploring the Seismic Signals and Stadium Response of Concerts and Music Fans." According to the academic paper, the audience's movements, as opposed to the music itself, generated "distinct harmonic tremors."

The police are only releasing limited details, but said "A victim and a suspect were involved in a domestic dispute when the suspect threw a bag at the victim with a glass bottle inside of it. It missed the victim, but that object struck a child."
The tech entrepreneur looked somber as he was spoken to by officers on the curb outside his Hollywood Hills home - before he was placed in a police car.
Multiple police cars were also seen parked outside the couple's home. Quinn was not seen at the time of the arrest.

“Sorry many of you have gotten upset about my message today. Even the press has gotten in touch with me. I am not dying,” he wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter)

Artists in continuing greater numbers are dropping out of the SXSW festival in Austin Texas. The reason? US Military is one of the festival's biggest event sponsors and that's fucked up.
At first it was just a singer songwriter who works under the name "Squirrel Flower" (real name Ella Williams) who dropped out stating the US's support of Israels attack on Palestine is something they couldn't rectify supporting and if the US militaries was a supporter of her show she would be a sell out.
“A music festival should not include war profiteers. I refuse to be complicit in this and withdraw my art and labor in protest,” Williams said in an Instagram post.
Since then several other bands and speakers have dropped out.
Probably none you know, but honestly, that makes a larger statement to me. They need this gig more than the big names that wont back out.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott responded to the protest in a social media post Tuesday, saying, “Bye. Don’t come back.”
“We are proud of the U.S. military in Texas. If you don’t like it, don’t come here,” Abbott said on X.
“We fully respect the decision these artists made to exercise their right to free speech,” one of the festival’s posts reads. SXSW organizers went on to defend their decision to accept the sponsors.
“The defense industry has historically been a proving ground for many of the systems we rely on today. These institutions are often leaders in emerging technologies, and we believe it’s better to understand how their approach will impact our lives. The Army’s sponsorship is part of our commitment to bring forward ideas that shape our world,”the string of SXSW posts reads.
SXSW drew more than 340,000 attendees last year, organizers have said, and generally hosts a sprawling lineup of conferences, panels, music showcases, film screenings and exhibitions. Its events this year have included panels with actress Selena Gomez; Meghan, Duchess of Sussex; and investor Mark Cuban.
The festival continues to “support human rights for all,” SXSW’s posts read.

You may have noticed that when Emma Stone took the stage to receive her best actress oscar there was a moment of confusion. Not just because Emma's dress had torn, but because Michelle, the presenter, gave the award to Jennifer Lawrence and not Emma. There's a reason for that.
