The most iconic suede shoes ever cobbled belonged to the man known as The King, aka, Elvis Presley.
He wore his blue suede shoes so much he sang a song about them.
The shoes sold for the princely sum of £120,000 (around $152,000) after they went up for grabs at British auction house Henry Aldridge and Son on Friday.
Bidding for the shoes, which were described as “an iconic lot of showbusiness memorabilia that simply transcends 20th century popular culture,” began at £55,000 (around $69,600).
The shoes were bought by a client from California, Henry Aldridge said.

As most of you know by now Justin Timberlake was arrested for DUI Monday night after police pulled the singer over for rolling through a stop sign and swerving.
But a source told Page Six that the singer was totally unfamiliar to the cop who was too young to know anything about the "Sexy Back" singer.
The source said 'Justin said under his breath, "This is going to ruin the tour,"' the source said. 'The cop replied, "What tour?" Justin said, "The world tour."'
Guh! That had to feel like salt on the wound.

Scooter Braun, who famously stole Taylor Swifts music catalog out from under her, says he's retiring from the industry. At least from managing other peoples careers.
Scooter was the manager to such mega stars as Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato and Dan and Shay. But it's time to hang up the wireless headset.
Braun shared the news in a lengthy Instagram statement, beginning with a memory of his first time managing an artist, Cato, in Atlanta at age 19. "Along the way I have had so many experiences I could never have dreamt of," he wrote.
"I have been blessed to have had a 'Forrest Gump'-like life while witnessing and taking part in the journeys of some of the most extraordinarily talented people the world has ever seen. I'm constantly pinching myself and asking 'how did I get here?' And after 23 years this chapter as a music manager has come to an end," said Braun.
"It's a strange feeling because I think I have wanted this for a while, but I was truly afraid to answer the question 'who would I be without them?' I was really just 19 years old when I started. So for my entire adult life I played the role of an artist manager on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week," he continued. "And for 20 years I loved it. It's all I had known."
"But as my children got older, and my personal life took some hits, I came to the realization that my kids were 3 superstars I wasn't willing to lose," wrote the father of three, who shares sons Levi and Jagger as well as daughter Hart with ex-wife Yael Cohen. (Braun filed for divorce from Cohen in July 2021, and it was finalized in September 2022.)
Good riddance.

He's one of the best golfers in the world and was about to be one of the worlds most eligible bachelors, but no more.
This evening TMZ broke that golf pro Rory McIlroy has called off his divorce from wife Erica Stoll.
Back on May 13th Rory filed to end his seven year marriage to Erica. The two share one child, Poppy, who is 4 years old. While most players bring their wives on tour, Rory's wife was always absent from his many winning performances and it made people wonder if the two were on the rocks.
“There have been rumors about my personal life recently, which is unfortunate. Responding to each rumor is a fool’s game," McIlroy toldThe Guardian on Tuesday.
“Over the past weeks, Erica and I have realized that our best future was as a family together. Thankfully, we have resolved our differences and look forward to a new beginning.”
No word on whether Erica and Poppy will be on tour more often, but we're happy for the pair.

I can not think of a worse decision for the Baldwin family than to blast their daily lives on national tv. But here it is.
Alec and Hilaria Baldwin and their seven children will be together in their Manhattan penthouse sharing their chaotic lives, which they've spent the last 10 years begging you all to stay out of.
Hilaria, best known for being born in Boston but claiming she's Spanish, complete with a Spanish accent and moments like "How you say... cucumber?" We'll she'll be there with her husband who I adore as an actor but who is a menace in his private life. They share 7 kids and the show will cover that mess.
They've shared the news on Instagram.
“We’re inviting you into our home to experience the ups and downs; the good, the bad, the wild and the crazy,” Alec says in the video. “Home is the place we love to be most.”
As he attempts to wrangle a horde of kids, he adds, “We are the Baldwins, and we’re going to TLC! God help you all.”

JLo has been a hot messy dumpster fire for months now. She fills the tiktok airways with delicious tea as people make fun of her silly documentary where star after star turns down her requests to be in her movie.
And of course, where there was once shameless PDA there is now awkward absence for the viewers of her and Bens two year marriage.
So it seems understandable that she would want to cancel (she says postpone) her world tour to work on her family. But I'm here to tell you that ain't whats going on.
If you've seen any stadium shots from her concerts, they're often half empty. Reviews of the shows have often used words like "embarrassing turn out".
And this sort of thing would be hard for anyone to suffer through, but for a person like Jennifer Lopez, who's spent her adult life believing (and being told) she was invincible, it's just got to be earth shattering.
THATS why the tour got canceled. She can't physically stand to look at that audience.
As for her Vegas residency... she should have started that first. Now maybe Vegas wont want her.
