Obviously Ryans Deadpool movie is the bigger film, but it's been out for three weeks now. Blakes movie "It Ends w=With Us" was released this weekend and made a real showing for a romance film.
So who won? Deadpool, naturally. But not by much! Deadpool's weekend take was $54m where Blakes romance movie took in a respectable $50m.
It's all good new for the film industry which has been weak since before covid and needed a real summer turn out.

Michelle Obama, one of my personal heroes, sat down this week with Melinda Gates, ex wife of billionaire Bill Gates, to talk about life after the White House.
Michelle noted the adjustment to life at home. Saying it was 'strange' to hear a door bell. Which is so interesting because you don't think about the fact that would be something they hadn't heard in almost a decade.
"It was strange' Michelle said, "you take the final helicopter ride, our very last ride on Air Force. We took a quick vacation to Palm Springs, so the day after we were out of D.C, we were in another place so it felt like we were on vacation but then when we came back to our new home, it was odd."
She said: 'It was odd coming down a different street and parking through a different set of barricades - because we still had barricades, we still had secret service - but I had a front door that I could open where people would walk up to visit and ring the doorbell and our dogs didn't know what a doorbell was.

Rapper T.I. was at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson Airport on Sunday when police cuffed him after a warrant was allegedly issued for another man named Clifford Harris - which is T.I.'s real name.
The REAL Clifford Harris was wanted for assaulting a woman and illegal gun possession, but this Harris had no involvement in that.
But it didn't just end at the airport. T.I. was then taken to Fulton County jail and the arrest triggered an automatic extradition hearing as the warrant was issued out of state.
T.I.'s attorney Steve Sadow told said he called the Fulton County Sheriff's Office, and had T.I. released within 2 hours of his arrest.
But you better believe that wont be the end of it. Cops tend to be rough with warrant suspects and if they were with T.I. he's probably, and rightfully, pissed off.

TMZ first reported the story last night saying the 2005 winner of the competition was thisclose to signing a contract that would bring her back to the show where the world first met the country singer.
Carrie would join Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan. Giving the show a country heavy judge line up.
TMZ says Carrie is also scheduled to be on GMA's Summer Concert Series on Friday. Which makes people suspect that's also the day she'll announce the deal.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been having major family problems with their contentious divorce, last night all attention was likely on their son, Pax.
According to TMZ the 20-year-old was riding his electric bike on Los Feliz Blvd. around 5 PM when he approached a red light and rammed into the back of a car stopped at the intersection.
Pax was apparently not wearing a helmet.
The driver of the car he hit ran back to check on him and Pax was complaining of hip pain and had a head injury. Police and paramedics arrived on the scene and Pax was taken to a near by hospital.
I actually genuinely hope this brings Brad and Angelina to their senses that the children mean more than the winery or whatever is keeping the anger spinning in that family.

Mindy and fellow cast mates (Kim Fields and Lisa Whelchel) had cameos on the 2021 one night special that saw huge rating numbers and seemed to be enjoyed by all. But...
According to Mindy, when talk of a reboot came up, “what happened was not cute” and because “there was drama” from one of the stars.
“It wasn’t me. I’ll put it that way,” Cohn said after the podcast co-hosts tried to have her say the name of the co-star.
The actress said that “one of the girls … went behind our backs and tried to make a separate deal for a spinoff just for herself and devastated the rest of us who we all, you know, I had booked Palm Royale, another girl is working. I’m just saying it was for a 40-year friendship and sisterhood, there was tidal wave of emotion around it.”
Show host Michael Hitchcock said that Cohn’s co-star was a “greedy bitch,” to which Cohen said, “You know what, Michael Hitchcock. Greedy bitch. I’ll say it.”
"It’s dead. It’s very dead,” Cohn said of the Facts of Live revival. “A couple of people can’t move past it, don’t want to move past it. We are not as united. Let me put it that way.
