Because she was to turn 100 on January 17th and SO INSANE was the idea that she wouldn't make it, that they just referred to her as 100. Betty attributed her good health to living so long and so robustly. That's all gone now.
She was the last of the foursome making up the Golden Girls and she was the sweetest most caring animal loving funny lady ever to have existed.
The only news right now is that Betty died at her Los Angeles home Friday morning. No details have been provided at this time.
