I've always loved a bit of Sandra Bullock. Despite her massive success, she's remained really down to earth and humble, and seems like a legitimately sweet, intelligent woman - and yes, that's a rarity in Hollywood. She's also an actress that's quite happy to keep her private life private and doesn't parade herself around for the paparazzi all the time, which is refreshing. It's also probably why we didn't know she was dating male model and certified silver fox Bryan Randall for a while -- b...
I think the last James Bond movie I watched was Casino Royale, which I saw in theatres for some reason (despite never having seen any of the previous Bond movies) - it's not really my thing, but I do realize Bond is an institution and people take it Very Seriously, as they do many things which aren't actually all that serious. Daniel Craig is coming to the end of his tenure in the Bond role, and chatter about who will replace him has been rampant. The biggest contender at the moment is Idris Elba...
Julia Roberts and husband Danny Moder have three kids together, but I couldn't have told you what they look like or even what their names are (the twins have weird names, if I remember right)... until now. Julia brought the family out for a rare appearance at the Malibu launch party for Kelly Slater's surfwear brand Outerknown on Saturday. There's 8-year-old Henry and the 10-year-old twins are Phinnaeus and Hazel. They're cute!
There's literally nothing else to this story, but the fact that...
There are some people who aren't all that thrilled about the all-female Ghostbusters remake that's in the works. I think it'll be alright and I'll totally watch it, but I wouldn't say I'm jumping for joy about it. Bill Murray has even agreed to make a cameo in the updated movie, and as he revealed in a new interview with ComingSoon.net, it was a decision he didn't take lightly.
“I thought about it for a very long time,” Murray said. “Like, many, many months. No, that’s not right. I ...
This story is just obnoxious enough to make you want to roll your eyes, but also realistic enough to be true, so let's go with it. As we know, Taylor Swift presented Kanye West with his Video Vanguard Award at the VMAs on Sunday night, but she only agreed to do that because they "agreed to talking points" before the actual show. When Kanye went off-script, TSwift panicked and wasn't happy about it. Uh oh!
From Radar:
Playing off of their rocky VMA history, MTV slated Swift to present Kanye with his award — ...
The Internet is freaking out after hearing reports that Tom Cruise's mother, Mary Lee South, has either gone missing or died. The 78-year-old hasn't been seen since Easter, when she had brunch with Tom at the Scientology Center in Los Angeles, but for some reason people are only talking about it now.
From Radar Online:
Public records revealed South moved into assisted living at Belmont Village of Hollywood Heights, which is a mile away from the Scientology building, last November.
Befo...
Taylor Swift has been releasing music videos rapidfire, it seems, and she's not about to stop anytime soon. Her latest offering is "Wildest Dreams", the African safari-themed clip that also stars Scott Eastwood and is basically very over-the-top and very Taylor.
The video premiered at the VMAs last night and was directed by Joseph Kahn. Also, because Taylor is a Perfect Human, all proceeds from the song will be “donated to animal conservation efforts through the African Parks Foundation o...
Justin Bieber apparently hasn't performed at the VMAs for five years, but last night he made a triumphant (???) return to perform "Where Are U Now" and "What Do You Mean" and it was rather average. Both songs are okay ("Where Are U Now" is actually amazing), but the most memorable part of the performance was when Justin started crying. Why the tears? What was so emotional about the performance? Is Justin Bieber dealing with depression? Was he scared when he had to float in mid-air? None of it makes...
Sad news this morning for horror movie fans. Wes Craven, legendary director of the Nightmare On Elm Street and Scream franchises, has passed away at the age of 76. A statement released by his family revealed that Craven died at home on Sunday after a long struggle with brain cancer.
From The Hollywood Reporter:
Craven, whose iconic Freddy Krueger character horrified viewers for years, died at his home in Los Angeles, his family announced. Survivors include his wife, producer and former Disney Studi...
In case you missed it, there was some major drama last week when Miley Cyrus gave an interview to the New York Times in which she tried (and failed) to call Nicki Minaj out over the whole Taylor Swift fiasco. Miley has literally no idea what she's talking about, but still felt the need to comment on the situation, saying "What I read sounded very Nicki Minaj, which, if you know Nicki Minaj is not too kind." Miley needs to basically shut the hell up forever, but she went on and on from there, basi...
I should warn you now that last night was the MTV Video Music Awards, so most (read: likely all) of the stories today will be about What Went Down, because there was a lot. One of the biggest things to come out of the evening was Kanye West's acceptance of the Video Vanguard Award, and more particularly his speech that accompanied it. In typical Kanye fashion, the 13 minute rant included him slamming MTV, giving nonsensical commentary on the whole Taylor Swift "I'mma let you finish" fiasco fr...
If you thought yesterday's story about Demi Lovato flicking a fan in the vagina, you're in for a real treat today. Apparently Real Housewives of Miami star Joanna Krupa is suing Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville for some form of defamation. The lawsuit was filed earlier this year after Brandi apparently claimed that Joanna has a smelly vagina during an episode of Watch What Happens Live. That led to the lawsuit for "slander, libel, defamation and/or intentional inflection ...
