Rihanna is always attempting new records at how few items of clothing she can wear in a music video, and 'Pour It Up' is no different. In a series of Instagram pictures (naturally), RiRi showed off her Marie Antoinette-era wig (WHY?) and some mesh bodysuit and other "outfits" from the video shoot. I don't really get what's happening or why, but all I know is I've seen so many headlines talking about how these are her "sexiest shots ever", and I have to say... no.
Y'all know I like Rihanna,...
Katy Perry is gearing up for the release of her new album, Prism, and has been teasing fans by releasing tracks here and there. After 'Roar' (which is the single, so it doesn't count), there was 'Dark Horse' and now we've got 'Walking On Air', an Ibiza-worthy dance track that's actually really catchy and a lot of fun, despite talk of going "deeper and harder than ever before", which I suppose still counts as a lot of fun to some people.
I'm pretty intrigued by what Prism will offer - it seems slightly less cohesive...

I'm not sure where this rumour was born other than in the bowels of hell, but apparently word was going around that Lady GaGa and Rihanna were due to collaborate - or rather, that they'd already recorded a duet together. Interesting, but ultimately untrue, I'm afraid. Just because Rihanna recently claimed that she'd done a "monster collaboration" does not mean it was with our favourite atelier.
GaGa set the record straight during an interview with KIIS-FM, saying:
"Well, no, that's not true. But, I mean, it's a ru...
Meryl Streep has taken on a variety of roles in her decades long career, and there's not a single one that hasn't been absolutely perfect. I don't know a human being who doesn't love Meryl Streep. Shit, I was interviewing Jane Lynch yesterday - who also has quite an amazing career - and asked her the highlight of it so far. Know what she said? Working with Meryl Streep. Meryl Streep is a queen!
In any case, one of her newest projects is Disney's upcoming film adaptation of Into the Woods, ...
I feel like we're at that place now where I can be honest about the fact that I went through a several year obsession with Celine Dion during my adolescence. When I say "obsession", I mean that I actually learned French (and still speak it to this day) in order to understand her French music and TV appearances. I even had her records she released as a teenager back in Quebec. It was a pretty intense time in my life, as you can tell.
I don't really listen to her anymore - and haven't since Let'...
Britney Spears is working with Ben Mor for her 'Work Bitch' video - Ben having been responsible for the Black Eyed Peas' 'Meet Me Halfway' and 'Don't Stop the Party'. It could be a good mix, I suppose, and apparently the pair are making magic together, as Britney posted the above teaser online this week.
Apparently the video requires Britney to dance around "sexually" - something she's not all that comfortable with, as she told E! News:
"My choreographer actually, when I was doing the rehearsals for t...

Miley Cyrus stripped off (yet again) for the new issues of Rolling Stone, wherein she discussed such deep topics as twerking, mentoring Justin Bieber and... how she apparently knows how to cook meth because she's seen Breaking Bad a few times. Lovely.
"America is just so weird in what they think is right and wrong. Like, I was watching Breaking Bad the other day, and they were cooking meth.
"I could literally cook meth because of that show. It's a how-to. And then they bleeped out the word 'fuc...
Katy Perry released her new fragrance, Killer Queen, in Germany on Thursday and boy, did she make her mark. Decked out in a tartan and Heidi braids, Katy unleased the scent - her third after Purr and Meow - during a Berlin photoshoot and I just don't know what to make of any of it.
Apparently Killer Queen was named after the band Queen, who served as a pretty big inspiration in her life. Who knew? Here's what she had to say about that:
"[Their] track 'Killer Queen' made me discover music ...
Rihanna's life might seem like an endless stream of blunts, nudity and bad behaviour, but don't get the wrong idea! She actually hates partying and the clubs and wearing high heels and all the stuff she does EVERY SINGLE DAY and feels the need to Instagram extensively. I don't know how we could have possibly got the wrong idea from that!
Appearing on Alan Carr's Chattyman (a pretty hilarious UK talkshow), Rihanna explained it as follows (via DS):
"I hate partying," the singer confessed. "I don't know if it...
I don't watch American Horror Story because... I don't know, because I never have time and it never struck me as all that interesting because I can't stand Ryan Murphy. However, I have heard it's good and the new opening credits for the series has sorta piqued my interest.
Apparently the third season is set in the present day and in the 1860s and will deal with themes including witchcraft, voodoo and witch trials. There will be 13 episodes, the first of which will premiere on FX on October 9.
