Moulin Rouge did relatively well at the box office despite being so boring, I fell asleep watching it. Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor did some nice little singing, there were classic Baz Luhrmann colours, it was all fine and well but nothing special.

It's a great track from a great album and I'm totally with her weirdness, but what in the hell is this? The preview for this video is a mess - I miss the Craft-inspired theme for this song from the Grammys, at this point.

Nicki Minaj's new song, 'Lookin' Ass N***a', is pretty awful in a lot of ways, not least of which is her decision to use a photo of Malcom X as part of the artwork when the lyrics are all about how she's (metaphorically, natch) "raping" people, and how she'll never get with a man who doesn't have a dick and all this other bullshit.
Of course, people weren't too happy about that, so now she's defended her decision (and removed the photo) on Instagram:

Lindsay Lohan has been through a LOT since her Mean Girls days, and it hasn't necessarily been good. However, she hasn't forgotten where she came from and met up this week with former costars Daniel Franzese and Rajiv Surendra.

Philip Seymour Hoffman's death was a shocking tragedy for the Hollywood community and because of it, many publications decided to pay honour to the amazing actor after his passing.
