I hate that I'm excited for this shit. I am such a 12-year-old. But I didn't have a TV while I was living with my dad when it aired last year, so I'm just extra excited for this year.
Despite my better judgment, I will probably end up doing weekly recaps once they actually select the contestants. I am trying my best to organize my life right now so that I have my evenings free, but, to be honest, I like writing those damn things as much as you guys like reading them, so I'll probably wind up doing them.
Until then, I will be live-tweeting the show, at least for tonight. And by "live-tweeting" I mean "tweeting about 30 minutes behind, because I was hanging out with friends and am going to watch it on DVR." You can follow me on Twitter here.

On the latest episode of The Miley & Mandy Show, Miley's boyfriend, Justin Gaston, makes an appearance, if only to prove that he is, in fact, the attractive face with absolutely zero underlying personality that we'd all assumed him to be anyway.
Stay tuned until around 5:00, where Justin actually performs with his guitar. He's not terrible, but it would be a lot better without Miley bouncing around in the background making damn sure all the attention is on her. />

You can all take a deep breath and relax. The rumors about Vanessa Hudgens appearing in the Twilight sequel, New Moon, are false. Her camp denies it and Summit Entertainment denies it.
Most importantly, the screenwriter of New Moon says that the Leah Clearwater character -- for which Vanessa was supposedly auditioning -- won't even appear in the film.
