Kim Kardashian posted an ass selfie that sent twitter a'twittering. By "ass selfie" I mean that it was a photo she took of her impressive backside. She added "#nofilter" and made it seem like it was a very casual, "Oh just postin' a photo of my ass, NBD." Kanye then reweeted it, adding "HEADING HOME NOW".
Well, it turns out there was a whole plan behind (no pun intended) the ass-selfie, if sources are to believed, and I believe them because it's the Kardashians. Everything they do is carefu...
Tom Hanks is kind of adorable. He gave an interview where he pleaded to be a superhero villain, particularly someone in the Batman universe. I guess seeing Tom Hanks as a villain would be something new, and if Ben Affleck can play Batman, anything is possible. Here's what he told Showbiz 411 via Huffington Post:
They don’t ask me, man. I keep trying. Come on, I can do it. I can do it. Even let me play a bad guy, let me play the bad guy against Batman. I’ll do anything, call me. They’ve never asked. What do I gotta do? God, I want to throw a shield at somebody. I want that. And I d...
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard got quietly and spontaneously married at the Beverly Hills courthouse. Apparently they weren't planning to wed yesterday (October 17) -- they just wanted to get their marriage license -- but somehow, it happened. From TMZ:
The couple had a no-frills ceremony at the Beverly Hills County Clerk Office. We're told there was a photographer present, and Kristen was crying.
According to eye witnesses, Kristen and Dax went to the clerk office just to get their marriage license...
Kate Moss is a lifelong smoker, and she's not going to change. Quite the contrary. She's put a cigarette clause in her contract that guarantees her cigarette breaks. She could have a smoke-off with Macaulay Culkin. New York Magazine's The Cut reports that her contract stipulates a cigarette break every 15 minutes. Jesus. Her make-up artist must work overtime to hide the ravages of smoking.
Do you smoke? What's your brand? How long have you been smoking, and why?
Let's call this post a cigarette break.

People are apparently flipping out over Melissa McCarthy's Elle magazine cover -- and not in a good way. God forbid you put a heavy (by Hollywood standards) woman in an overcoat on a fashion magazine cover. The issue (no pun intended) appears to be that she's covered up. People are saying the magazine is "fat shaming" her. Here's more from E Online:
... while the 43-year-old actress undoubtedly looks stunning in the shot, critics are slamming Elle for covering up the curvy actress, who's barely...
Lady Gaga is a big fan of social media. Personally, I think she could do a much better job using it. Her instagram account is boring as hell. Mostly selfies. But apparently, the instagram people have a different opinion. They were concerned by some of her latest photos and emailed her essentially asking if she was okay because "members of the instagram community raised concern."
We know this because Gaga tweeted a screencap of the email with,
what the actual hell. hahahaha
The rest of the em...
Mischa Barton is ready to tell her sob story to the world, as she's on the cover of People magazine with the headline "My Hollywood Nightmare". I'm not saying that to be mean. I've not nothing against the girl. I met her once and she seemed fine. (No, I am not anyone remotely important. That's basically how LA works. At some point in your life, you're going to wind up hanging out with Mischa Barton. It's like a law of physics. That and seeing Angelyne's car. These things happen.)
I think w...
Ronan Farrow was in the news recently because mom Mia Farrow casually speculated that his dad was perhaps not Woody Allen, but Frank Sinatra. Originally Mr. Farrow sort of winked at the reports, tweeting, "Listen, we’re all *possibly* Frank Sinatra’s son." Apparently now he considers the whole paternity question "an annoyance" (Hollywood Reporter), which I understand. But it's gonna be all smooth sailing from now on for Ronan. He's getting his town TV show on MSNBC. Just like Mr. Alec Bal...
Whichever Kardashian leaked this gossip (Kris), well done. I salute you. This is just ridiculous. I love it. Star magazine is reporting the real reason Kris wants to divorce Bruce Jenner is because he wants to be a woman. Maybe Bruce really does want to be female. It seems unlikely. It seems like there is a whole sea of straws someone is grasping at here. Please enjoy these glorious details from Star:
“Bruce has a feminine side,” our source reveals. “He likes growing his hair out, likes getting manicures and ...
Christopher McDonald, perhaps best known for playing Shooter McGavin in Happy Gilmore, was arrested for alleged drunk driving. He was pulled over and arrested for DWI this morning (Wednesday, October 16). Here's more from Us Weekly:
The arrest took place in Wilmington, North Carolina, where he is currently filming the movie The Squeeze.
TMZ first reported the arrest and reported that law enforcement claimed McDonald's blood alcohol level was .15, which is almost double the legal limit.
This means that he now has something in common with Dina Lohan (also arr...
Miley Cyrus wrecked her competition when her album, BANGERZ, debuted #1 on Billboard's Top 200 album chart. Though E Online reported that she reached #1 on the iTunes charts as well, BANGERZ is currently at #5. Pearl Jam's "Lighting Bolt" has the #1 spot -- at least for now. These things can change pretty quickly and frequently, as we saw with Gaga's "Applause" single. Wonder if her album will debut as as strongly as Miley's.
I would guess Miley's "Wrecking Ball" video gave the album an extra push to the #1 s...
Jenny McCarthy is not making a whole lot of fans by joining The View. Sources say she may be fired pretty soon, as viewers find her "more off-putting than Elisabeth [Hasselbeck]." The sources are from Radar Online so grain of salt and all that but really, who doesn't find this hard to believe? Here's the rest of the report, via Daily News:
"ABC has begun doing deep research on Jenny's work on the show and the initial findings are that viewers want to tune out the second she opens her mouth!" a product...
