Victoria Beckham is set to replace Paula as "The Nice Judge" on next season of American Idol-- at least for one episode. This morning she took to Ryan Seacrest's radio show to talk about her new gig saying that she's looking forward most to working with Simon, as she "appreciates his honesty". She goes on to praise him, mentioning that she understands his humor because of their shared roots. “He has a very tongue-in-cheek British sense of humor, which I have too. I’m looking forward to a b...
Britney strutted her stuff poolside in LA for a photoshoot yesterday and personally, I'm psyched to say she looked pretty darn good. Remember, (as if you could forget), this is a woman who's had a handful of issues the last few years, everything from rumored drug use and depression, losing her kids in a custody battle, growing back all of her hair after she shaved it off and trying to shed the pounds she gained after maintaining a strict Starbucks and Cheetos diet.
Not only does Britney appear to...
Lindsay Lohan, the world's slowest learner of lessons, hit up an LA eatery with her girlfriend Samantha Ronson in what could be interpreted to be an early b-day dinner for the DJ. Unfortunately, after the two sucked down their first round of post meal cigarettes and made their way to their car, Lindsay took it upon herself to give Sam her present early-- a public wrist slap!
Per usual the paps were yelling questions at Lohan, most of which she ignored, except when one yelled "No more fight...
Forget the touching memorials, we've got a nip slip on our hands!
A friendly breeze blew open Kate Moss' shirt yesterday, exposing her goods to anyone pointing a lens at her praying for such a thing to happen. We're sure Moss recovered from the Trauma-Rama moment just fine, as it ain't exactly nothin' we haven't seen before. Maybe that's what you get for partying with Lily Allen in St. Tropez in the first place.
NSFW (if you work at one of those kinds of places that cares about that stu...
As we told you yesterday, director John Hughes died from a heart attack at the age of 59. The news came as a shock to many, even in this Summer of Death, and now Hollywood is coming out to pay their respects in the best way they know how: public statements made to the press. We've rounded up a few of our favorites from People.com.
John Hughes's iconic films gave a powerful voice to a generation. He will be missed but never forgotten! - Demi Moore
His films helped establish an international notion of ordinary American teenagers, and he was as popular abroad as at home. Once when I was visiting the largest movie theater in Calcutta, I asked if Star Wars had been their most successful American film. No, I was told, it was Baby's Day Out, a Hughes comedy about a baby wandering through a big city, which played for more than a year. - Robert Ebert
I was a fan of both his work and a fan of him as a person. The world has lost not only a quintessential filmmaker whose influence will be felt for generations, but a great and decent man. - Macaulay Culkin
He was a wonderful man, a genius, a poet. I don't think anyone has come close to him as being the poet of the youth of America in the postwar period. He was to them what Shakespeare was to the Elizabethan Age. - Ben Stein
While I'll admit that it's been a couple years since I've rewatched a Hughes classic, watching this clip yesterday reminded me that he has the ability to create some of the whackiest and romantic scenes in movies ever, including this number from "Pretty in Pink".
Exiting a club last night, Kelly Osbourne (who is apparently going with the 'Chuckie from Rugrats' look these days) and her boyfriend Luke Worrall, pulled a blue water pistol out on the photogs trying to get a shot of her. Instead, she took a shot at them, laughing as she sprayed them with water. Hey, at least she's continuing to look happy and healthy.

...the twin babies, Roman Stylianos and Adele Georgiana, the she had back in July. What did you think I was talking about?
If anything, Ringwald seems just as wholesome as ever and seems to be one of those really frustrating moms that effortlessly and enthusiastically raise her children. She explains, "You get up with one of the babies and feed and change that one and get the baby back to...
