What are you guys going to do to honor the 10th anniversary of 9/11? Light a candle? Call some family? Visit some memorials, graves? Donate to the Red Cross? Nothing? Try to move on and not commemorate a heinous tragedy that occurred a decade ago? If you chose any of these options, I wouldn’t blame you in the least, but I, however, will have moved on enough from the point of contact that I won’t be doing anything special that day other than saying a few prayers for those who passed 10 years ago and those who bravely responded to the crisis, personally.
For those of you who want to do something a little bit more concrete that day, you can check out 911day.org, where there’s tons of ideas for you to invest your time, money, and thoughts in. It’s a good cause, one way or the other.
I’m always in house.
