According to exclusive sources at TMZ, Lindsay Lohan may be released from rehab sometime this week, which will be what, only eighty-two days early or something?

Turns out Lindsay Lohan will indeed be getting out of the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital … as early as this week, according to sources familiar with the situation.
Our sources say Lindsay’s doctors have not written their final report, but they have already concluded her psychiatric problems are not nearly as severe as first thought. We’ve been told there were indications Lindsay was bipolar but that proved not to be the case.
In addition, the doctors do not believe the drug dependency issues are as severe as first thought. As we reported, Lindsay had big issues with Adderall, but the docs don’t think it requires much more inpatient care.
Bottom line … sources say it’s “very possible” Lindsay is getting out this week and will begin getting outpatient care.
‘Outpatient care.’ Is that similar to what she was doing when she ‘attended’ her alcohol counseling sessions? Because I don’t think that kind of outpatient care counted for much, considering she ended up in jail for crying out loud.
You know, I don’t know the girl personally (though it’d be a lot cooler if I did), but from an outsider’s perspective? This girl needs more attention in the rehab and counseling side of the house than most people are willing to put her through.
Hear that noise? Do you know what it is? It’s the hopefully-distant sound of death — knocking at Lindsay’s door. And this time, if she doesn’t clean up her act, that creepy skeleton bastard is going to break right through the front windows and take this girl to his equally-creepy home.

If they are right and her psychiatric and drug problems aren’t as severe as they SEEM TO BE from where I’m standing, it could be that her moderate psychiatric and drug problems, combined with an arrogant attitude of entitlement and the celebrity free-pass for behavior are what REALLY fuck her up.

I have no been so pissed in a while as I was reading that. Lindsay needs help. They need to give her the help she needs. And if she doesn’t need it? Well, it probably won’t hurt to give it to her anyway. Rargh. This makes me so irritated. I thought for once they were gonna hold her accountable for her actions, but i guess not.
i can’t believe how all you people actually seriously believe that you know anything about the lives of celebrities. all you know about lindsay and her “condition” is from gossip blogs. i find it outstanding that you guys think you know better than -everyone- who’s actually involved in her business (court, psychiatrists etc.)
not saying those involved are necessarily doing a good job, but unless you’ve all been to law school, 8 years of psychiatric training or even just know this girl in person, you should really stop talking like you know shit.

if she’ not physically addicted to anything.. and if she really doesn’t have ADHD… then 1 she shopped around to find a doc to give her the adderall she wanted.
and 2 her behavior is coming from her own sense of entitlement.
In other words… she’s just playing nice for the docs so she can get out and get back to doing what she wants to do.
