I must be stupid. My brain can’t register her quote. What?!
She’s saying that her appealing to people and having them be so interested in her as a person distracts them from seeing her in the role she’s trying to play in a movie or show.
So if she’s playing like a homeless person in a movie, while watching, people still see her as Jennifer Aniston and wonder if she’s still hanging out with Courtney Cox, who she’s dating, if her butt got rounder, etc. instead of focusing on the homeless character she’s trying to portray.
She’s basically saying that she wants to be someone who goes on film, acts the part she’s supposed to and have her audience delve into that character without personally bringing Jen into it. I’m sure she’d like more privacy in her personal life as well.
I hope we can leave her alone and make her life easier as a star, but that’s pretty hypocritical of me to say because I love anytime any of her pictures make it on here.

It’s easy to drift within a fakey movie/romantic situation and not deeply care at any personal level in a relationship as long as you have wealth, security and fame you need.. however; the partner you share this life with may not like your personal fakery, tepid emotions and will pick up on body language that is saying the opposite of your deeds and apologies and dump you.
