Levi Johnston, seller of pistachios, taker of nudie pics and former fiance of Bristol Palin is now taking action to gain joint custody of his son, Tripp. Levi feels that the family is making it so hard to see his son that he really has no choice but the take the Palin family to court.
This is probably not such a wise move considering his upcoming issue of Playgirl has been in the news daily since it was announced, and he’s done the kind of press tour to smack talk his ex’s family that normally only an A-list actor would do to promote their summer blockbuster.
What seems so obvious about this whole thing is that Levi was, in fact, spending time with Tripp when he spoke about it on the Tyra Banks show almost a year ago. It seems like as soon as Levi started to make a public image for himself, he didn’t decide to skulk off in ot the distance like an ex-Real World castmate who just wants a normal life. Instead, he jumped at the chance to do what he could to stay in the spotlight and in the process of doing so, alienated the family that technically has control over how much he gets to see his baby boy. I’m just sayin’ Levi, maybe if you took a break from all the spotlight hogging, you’d maybe even get to give your son a Christmas present face-to-face.
He’s the kid’s dad. I don’t care if he shows his dingely bits in public or not, he still needs to be in that kids life.
It’s like saying Britney Spears should loose custody for flashing her bits. It’s silly. Kids need parents. If the Palin family is being selfish and using the child as a pawn to control Daddy’s mouth, they need to think twice.
Because the law doesn’t actually say, “Unless you like your daughter’s baby daddy, you don’t have to share custody”. No. Quite the opposite, in fact.

Where I’m from, custody is automatically shared 50/50 unless contested, when couples split up. There should be no reason for a father to fight to see his own child.

And he’ll need money and he’ll need the courts to be in his son’s life. I don’t like the way you just gloss over the documented vindictiveness of Sarah Palin – who reportedly devotes a lot of ink to this kid in her new book. Like the Palins are innocent & Levi’s gone rogue…were you not paying attention or are you drinking the kool-aid?

Levi isn’t the brightest star in the sky and I think it’s great that he figured out a way to make money, a lot of money. Not just the posing nude, but staying in the spotlight and milking the ‘media’ the way it milks celebrities or d listers . He won’t be in the spotlight for long but he’ll have money to help take care of his kid, a kid he has not run out on. Sarah Palin pimped her kids out from day one, did you tell her to get out of the spotlight and get back to her kids? If I had to pick sides, I’m on team Levi for joint custody.
