Fox has issued a statement apologizing to all of America– Jessica Simpson included– for the above cartoon, sponsored by Burger King, which aired during their NFL broadcast last Sunday.
“Burger King Corp. did not have any editorial input in the creation of the animation that ran last Sunday, and no one from Burger King Corp. approved it before it aired. Upon reflection, our poor attempt at humor was insensitive and we deeply apologize to anyone who might have been offended.”
They might want to keep that second sentence handy since it applies to their entire fall lineup.
Glee. House, Bones, Family guy. ’nuff said.
Glee IS amazing…even if the musical numbers are way too processed. But House stopped being amazing after the second season and stopped being at least good after like, the third season. I don’t watch the other two so I can’t rly comment.
I’ll accept Glee for 2 points. It’s new and I forgot about it.
But I don’t think Family Guy is funny any more. And if Bones & House are your idea of good comedies then I’d hate to hear you tell a joke.
Of course that Jessica Simpson video above is comedic gold– as in, you could dig for hours and not find any.
Loved your last sentence Kelly
Who said anything about “comedies?” (answer: you, only NOW in the comment above [and not in your post], Kelly).
Both House and Bones have solid comedic elements.
Thanks for the two points, though, They will hopefully help me make it through the weekend.
The post was talking about humor, therefore implying comedies
This commercial wasn’t a “comedy,” so by comparison why must anyone assume that the only “humor” being lambasted about the Fox fall lineup has to be “comedies”?
I read “entire fall lineup” to mean just that, any Fox show airing this Fall.
This disgusts me.
not gonna lie… this video wasnt even funny- not for ‘moral’ issues or anything like that, but because it just was not funny
