And as for Tracey’s comment: he really wasn’t that good on SNL. Maybe he wasn’t given the good sketches/characters? But he always broke character and wasn’t very focused (seemingly). I also don’t really “get” the can’t get arrested comment. I’ve heard others say it but I just comes across as odd to me.

Brian Fellows with his lip gloss was awesome. I just don’t think SNL gave him enough good skits, otherwise he would have been more popular on the show. Chris Kattan was never really funny….
Tracy is great in 30 Rock, but in just about every interview you see with cast from 30 Rock they always say that he’s basically playing himself. I think that’s why he was never really super popular on SNL… he couldn’t really pull off a ton of impersonations and they didn’t really give him a ton of skits otherwise. He’s funny on his own cause he just seems to be an off-the-wall guy, but unable to do a lot of scripted comedy.
30 Rock Season 4 premiere tomorrow! SO EXCITED!
This guy (no one will know his name 20 years from now anyway) is totally one-dimensional. CanNOT stand him. Maybe Cheri and Chris just couldn’t understand how this so unfunny guy got on the show. Or, maybe Tracy’s an asshat – that seems likely to me.
