Jessica Simpson is “sad, mad and confused” over being dumped by Tony Romo. Apparently she never saw it coming. Which certainly leaves me a bit confused. Everyone in the world knew it. How could she not?

What the fuck? How are regular women supposed to have any semblance of self-esteem when they are constantly told that other women like Jessica Simpson are fat? I really feel for this woman. She looks to be average-sized, and we’re meant to believe that she’s some sort of behemoth? Do people actually believe that she’s disgustingly fat, or is it just an opportunity to rag on someone else for profit? Thankfully, she’s been more successful and is more talented than most of the people ragging on her, so hopefully she’ll be able to turn the other cheek.

I don’t think that people feel Jess is fat. The problem is, when she had a TV show with Nick she was a smoking hot sex symbol and the picture above is how she looks now. Still looks good but not the girl that every guy wants to bang.
She’s still just as gorgeous as she was then. At that time, she was made up for TV and in the above picture, she’s not. She has no makeup on and is shot from a bad angle. I bet you could take stills from her TV show that she looks crappy in anyway. If you ever ran into her on the street, you’d realise how gorgeous she actually is. People are just desensitised by this celebrity obsessed society of ours. She’s beautiful.
I agree that if she was just walking down the street people would think she was hot. In terms of size, she was never really that small, except for when she was too skinny when she and Nick broke up, and she looked terrible. I would say she’s about a size 12 British (I’m Australian and we go by the British measurements) which I think is about an 8 US, which is a healthy size. She seems like such a nice and normal person which is why I really feel for her. My wish is that she meets a guy who really loves and appreciates her, gets married, has babies and doesn’t need to worry about fucked up expectations of size anymore.

The reason people seem to feel she is unattractive now is becuase [i think] they compare her to what she was when she was younger [not that she’s old by any means!] was working out and had an amazing figure and had professional hair and make up done. No one can look like she did on a daily basis without a hellalot of help. I personally perfered her thinner but i guess she’s not naturally thin so she should just embrace what she’s meant to be like and be happy, well as happy as she can be. By that i mean her career is over now and she’s still so young.
