Why do I hate Mandy Moore so much?

Oh, I don’t know.

Maybe because when her fashion line, Mblem, shut its doors this week, this was her statement:

“I love the fashion world. I’m fascinated by it. I’m humbled by it. If I were to dip my toe back in there, it would have to be the right situation… a great partnership that could represent a true reflection of me and my ideas and, you know, that wasn’t happening. So next go round, that needs to be top of the list.”

It’s the way she talks.

It’s so douche-y. So holier-than-thou. I dunno. Everything about her annoys me so much.

So, ya know, I’m happy that her clothing line is over, but annoyed to hear that she’s working on a new album of a California ’70s-inspired pop.

I hope it fails!

  • I don’t know much about Mandy Moore but she seems pretty harmless to me, so I don’t understand the hate either. This post seems more like misplaced jealousy than gossip to me. How sad to “hate” someone you don’t even know, for a reason you cannot even define.

    For some reason, she annoys the hell out of me. I feel like she puts on this little good-girl act and it bugs me soo much. And I don’t mean that there’s anything wrong with being a good girl, but she could be a little more natural about it because it looks like, to me anyway, that she tries way too hard.

I completely understand that some people will like bashing others without apparent reason, I just never liked it. And yes, relishing in other person’s failure is super-pathetic.     Moore’s publicist Jillian Fowkes confirmed to The Associated Press on Wednesday that the two are planning to wed. No details were announced.
    The 24-year-old Moore started out as a squeaky-clean teen singer and later crossed into movies with featured roles in such films as “License to Wed,” “A Walk to Remember,” “Saved” and “American Dreamz.”
    Adams, who played in the band Whiskeytown during the 1990s before turning solo, is known for his song “New York, New York,” which appeared on his album “Gold,” released in 2001.
