That’s exactly what I was thinking. It’s like she’s trying to emulate Angie (both appearance and behavior-wise). But it’s really pathetic.
Angie is a millionaire and she’s in a committed relationship with another millionaire. This woman is jobless and single, and she has 14 children? What the fuck is she thinking.
one story was saying how mentally unstable she is, and showed that she has a celebrity obsession with angelina jolie. she had a nose job, her lips done, dyed her hair black and parts it on the same side….and wants a lot of children. there was a lot more stuff too, but that stood out the most.
the woman is neurotic.
Maybe that’s why she wanted so many kids.to be like angelina….lol
where does she get all this money for surgery and IVF? isn’t IVF really expensive?

I admire Curry for asking the questions that actually needed to be asked, but the mom just brushed them off. She seems to have completely justified all of this in her mind, and I’m sorry but I just cannot.
First of all, how is it that 6 children could not provide enough company for each other that she went through with the final IVF? And who ever thinks to “use up what’s left” when it comes to those? That’s like saying, “Oh I’m going to make a nice big omelet before the eggs and peppers go bad!”
And please, please, spare me when you claim you had no idea that so many would take. Horseshit. You had 5 successful attempts, one resulting in twins. Your body obviously accepts IVF as an alternative to natural pregnancy, and that is fortunate when you have no other options. So to think that less than 6 would take this time around? To really convince yourself it’s not likely?
Grrr. I hate this woman more now after seeing this video. She’s obviously educated, and yet, a complete and absolute moron.
wow. you know, this actually makes me feel less critical of nadia suleman than i did before. i do think she acted selfishly in focusing so much on her own emotional needs, but i think she now sees this too, and to me that’s significant.
and as far as some of her other choices… i don’t know if i could have brought myself to reduce my pregnancy either, or decided to have embryos destroyed. i’m not for one second saying that those decisions would have been morally wrong, but only that i don’t know if i could have made them myself were i in her place. and despite the blatantly incredulous look the interviewer wore at all all times, nadia suleman’s argument that the statistics gave her no reason to anticipate such an extreme multiple birth makes sense to me.
one more thing, about nadia being a single mother without a job: she’s lived her life on the basis of putting this one dream above everything else. my own mom (an artist by talent and training, but who once had a “day job” that could have become a career) has worked basically dead-end jobs for the last decade because of the years she stayed at home when her kids were very young. and although we had my dad’s job to pay the bills, we had at least our share of financial troubles – yet i know my mom considered caring for us herself her most important job, and in the end i can’t imagine having had a better parent.
i’m almost certain – and i don’t mean this as an insult – that these kids and their mother and this family will need counseling, but hopefully the children will at least have the knowledge that their mom wanted more than anything else.

She’s going to be filmed on television touching the babies, wouldn’t you want to look decent after birthing 8 children too?
I was absolutely infuriated when I noticed her fingernails. I don’t even get manicures in order to cut back and my husband and I both have comfortable incomes. Her PR people need to notice this. I will not donate until I know the money won’t go towards the nail salon or injected into her forehead!!!
She won’t have time to take a pee when those babies come home, much less a manicure. How does an unemployed mother of 14 afford such things?

I saw that the other day and started swearing at the TV. Jesus Christ. I love how she has a nail tech and aesthetician (lip injections?? ) come to her hospital room. Priorities, ya’ll. Gots to have the french mani!

I guess her idiot parents never told her that it’s her job to make the BABIES feel important and that she should forget about her own needs at this point. Gross. As an only child myself, I will tell you that yes, there are times when you wished you had siblings. When I get married and decide to have kids I want more than one… maybe 2 or 3. I love how she is pointing out that her need for a gaggle of spawn is a consequence of being an only child. HER needs needed to be met. HER life wasn’t fulfilled. Selfish psychobabble!! I don’t know her, and I have no doubt in my mind she is not dealing with a full deck.
Oh, and here’s a novel idea… how about giving some of those babies up for adoption to a nice childless couple who have the time to give these children the attention they deserve? Well, that would require her to put their needs above her own, something she is obviously not capable of doing because the media attention would go away.
The doctor(s) who helped her out with the IVF need to be put on the hook for these kids’ costs going forward.
Did they ever say how she managed to pay for all this? I had heard she was on disability the past few years.

okay so i thought of the perfect outcome for this situation. first take 14 volunteers from a pool of sane employed people who can’t have children naturally but really want them and can provide a loving SANE home for them. then tie this chick to a pole, blindfolded, and everyone shoots her then grabs a baby and takes it home. kind of like a pinata. but with a violent death involved.

I think she is a selfish obnoxious woman. The Fake nails???? Yeah they run about $40 give or take. Does she not know how much babies cost? You just gave birth to 8, who gives a damn if you look pretty while visiting them in the hospital? I hope those babies are taken away from her and actually given to families who can feed them, love them and provide a safe normal upbringing. She makes me sick!
This Octo-Bitch infuriates me. The taxpayers are going to be burdened with her bills. How does an unemployed single mother of six afford plastic surgery, IV fertilization and college? Somebody, somewhere is contributing something to this insanity. If Psycho-octo-bitch is allowed to keep the new litter then society will be affected much more than financially when these kids grow into out of control adolescents.
I think the doctor that helped her with this should have his license revoked. It is one thing to help people that can’t have children (and can provide a stable home) achieve their dreams. To help someone procreate 8 children when she already has 6 that she can’t support is insane. She doesn’t have a job, instead she collects disability payment. The people carrying the burden of her irresponsibly (and crazy) decisions are her parents and the tax payers- She collects $480 in food stamps, her parents take care of the kids and provide financial support. At the moment she can’t even provide a home for her children as she lives with her parents and children in a 3 bedroom house. To top things off the hospital where she had the kids is requesting that the state of California- a state that is having serious financial difficulties- covers the bill for the medical expenses incurred during the delivery and special care the babies require. Considering all this I think the children should be taken away and given up in adoption to parents that can provide a stable home and a better future for them. She should be committed to a mental institution.

I just read a comment here that some said “a violent death” that is so beneath any thing human or moral, I truly hope you don’t speak like that to ones whom you care about, but who knows maybe thats how some one else talks about your loved ones.
and then another calls the grandparents “idiots” why? they didn’t get her pregnant, they didn’t ask her to do this, they are suffering to, the grandma said her retitement check every month goes to supporting those kids, and the grandparents are the ones who bought the home they live in, now they have had to file bankruptsy and all now live in the 2nd home which they are about to lose.
I think the grandparents are mad as hell she did this to all of them, but what can they do now? the grandma can’t just walk away, Oh I’m sure she would love to many times a day or night, but the kids can not help what their stupid mom did.
The grandparents went to the Dr them selves and asked him not to do the IVF, they didn’t want any more kids and espically 8 or any more that has special needs, The grand parents are worn out, I do feel sorry for them they are between a rock and a hard place, and trhis woman cares no ore about them than she does the dirt on the bottom of her shoes, just their money and engery to help.
