The judge should have suspended her license for one year and
required her to have a driver to take her everywhere.
The judge is not too bright. He could have requested that she
performs charity work by giving a percentage of her profits to
help the children of LA have more education and activities to keep them out of gangs.

Prison is bad for everybody. Paris had a court order to comply but she didn’t. The law says if you don’t comply you go to jail and she knew it, for sure.
I think that, in this situation, she should have a punishment related to the offence committed, like paying an ammount of money, or be unnable to go out of a determined area for some time.

Well it’s like that saying “who don’t hear will feel”. In my opinion Paris deserves to go to jail. So what if she’s a celeb she broke the fucking law. Now if she had run over some ordinary person what would we say then. She has so much money her getting a personal driver wouldn’t do anything to her pockets. I read a lot of the comments on the site but the one that disturbs me the most was made by Dr. Marilyn Childs. Her suggestions about how Hilton could help the children of LA are valid but if she was not doing it before she got in trouble what makes you think that a court order that is not in relation to the letter of the law is going to make her a responsible adult. Ms. Hilton would have just used daddy’s money to get verdict overturned as cruel and unusal punishment and have gotten away with breaking the law again.
