ABC killed once again, maintaining its Grey’s viewership even with the two-hour, you-can-tell-which-city-we’re-in-because-of-the-color-palette, Addison-Montgomery-may-not-be-able-to-have-a-baby-but-that- bitch-can’t-go-five-minutes-without-another-gorgeous-doctor-
making-out-with-her-and-I-still-don’t-have-a-boyfriend-so-fuck -that-shit, Taye-Diggs-is-still-hot, everyone-in-LA-surfs-and-drinks-martinis, spinoff-introducing juggernaut. So it turns out you guys really do have all the attention span Chandra Rimes was betting on you having. Way to go, America.
What did everyone think of Grey’s last night? It was interesting, I thought, to watch actors essentially filming a pilot juxtaposed against actors who’ve been working together on a hit series for year. Pilots are always awkward, I guess, but switching back and forth made the awkwardness all the more obvious. I do love the Addison Mongomery character, even when I’m insanely jealous of her, and I love that they’ve given her such increasing depth since the day she showed up as McDreamy’s evil wife. I almost like her more than Meredith these days.
Addie is way more of an interesting character than M. I’ve always hated M. Cannot STAND that character. Nor the actress. I fear she’s as shallow as her character. Sandra Oh rocks as well. Alex, yum. Everyone else: don’t care. Well, I’d have done McSteamy if he called, but he hasn’t, so… yeah.
I hate the Meredith character and I know this will probably bring a rain of hate down on me, but I hate Izzy too. SO tired of her angst. Get over yourself already. Didn’t start out that way, but honestly I am about done with Grey’s.
Yeah, the Grey’s Movie totally confirmed my prediction – the spinoff may be better than Grey’s and it may pull in more viewers or equally as much.
Grey’s is really getting shitty. I mean, that pussy TR’s leaving because he can’t handle his first fucking slur!! How many women have been called a bitch, slut?… How many black people have been called the “N” word? And this bitch can’t handle it.
Plus Isaiah Washington’s supposed to be gone, without a doubt Kate Walsh will be gone and we no longer care that McDreamy’s banging Meredith. Meredith is boring, fugly, whiny and did I mention fugly. Her mug distracts me.
I always thought Kate Walsh was gorgeous. And Shondra Rhimes is really making her character very interesting!!
I wasn’t into Taye Diggs, but I’m feelin’ him on this show but I’m disappointed that they’re using the ho from Judging Amy as the curly-haired ex who ran into her former lover and his new bitch. I would prefer to see all new faces. Give aspiring actors a chance already! Everyone’s a star now b/c of Grey’s, but it’s not my show. Shondra doesn’t have to listen to me, she just has to keep writing good shit.
