At least as far as this weekend’s movie releases go. It was close though. Carrey’s Yes Man opened up to a sad $18.2M closely followed by Smith’s Seven Pounds at $16M. The Tales of Despereaux, sadly the only movie I have interest in seeing, came in third with The Day the Earth Stood Still and sigh Four Christmases rounding out the top five.
The horrible weather on the east coast (speaking of which, my electricity has gone out about six times since I started this post) definitely contributed to the 44% decrease from last year’s numbers this same weekend. And I’m not totally sure, but I think it just might be snowing in Seattle too. I could be wrong about that…does anyone know?
LOL Wendie – is it snowing in Seattle? You betcha -for the first time in recorded history, evidently. I’m surprised the west coast hasn’t fallen into the Pacific with the weight of all that snow. Right, Beet?

He really has some crows feet there. Wow. And what happened to his smile, it is no longer perky. Sigh, the aging process can be a bitch.
At least he’s letting himself age gracefully without medical procedures!! This is what someone his age SHOULD look like, Hollywood has glamourized people wayyy too much and put plastic surgery on a pedestal.

Hey – I saw 7 Pounds on Friday and LOVED it! Don’t believe the reviewers – the movie was good!!! Made me think a lot and it’s still kind of haunting me. Plus, Will Smith ROCKS!!!
He looks like he dyes his hair…. as a general rule, if the beard is going grey the hair should be aswel… however saying that, one of my friends has brown hair and a ginger beard, so I guess you never can tell.
The first thing to go grey is the beard and the sideburns, and he’s got both of those. There isn’t a defined rule for each and every person. It varies from person to person.
Besides, I love me some grey. Jim Carrey is still sexy as hell in a goofy sort of way.

if his beard is going grey his hair should be as well? seriously? my dad has had a grey facial hair for like 5 years, and still has a full head of black hair.
Yup, still snowing here. We’ve got around 8 inches, and 3-6 more are expected tonight.
