The lawyer who writes the Crazy Days and Nights blog posted a sort of blind item today, implying that someone big in the music industry has been using an unknown singer’s vocals on, well, all her albums. The real singer, who he refers to as “S,” has not been getting her usual hush money, and now wants to come forward with her story. The famous singer, who he refers to as “MV” (for Milli Vanilli), has been “recording” since 2001, has had several hit songs and at least one gold record. The kids at Idolator have narrowed it down to four top guesses: Alicia Keys, Jessica Simpson, Mandy Moore and Christina Millian. They’re going with Mandy Moore.

She is so talented, for those who has seen her perform live know whats up. Her MTV performance “Unplugged”proves that.
She doesn’t need anybody elses vocals to make her songs better.

I think it’s Christina Millian.
Christina has been around since 2001 and I’ve never heard or seen her perform live. She just releases CDs and that’s it.
I’ve heard Mandy, Alicia, and Jessica all sing live (no lip syncing).
Plus, Mandy Moore has been around since 1999 (anyone remember her single, “Candy”?), Alicia has been around since 2001 BUT I’ve been to 4 of her concerts and she does sing live, and Jessica has been around since 1997 or 1998 (Remember “I Think I’m In Love With You”?).
Alicia has a MTV unplugged CD. You can watch the taped concert
on MTV videos. Or youtube one of her live performaces and you
would see and hear how silly bringing her name up in any of this is obsurd. Check your facts.
