Netflix’s new series titled “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” took the No. 1 spot with 196.2 million hours viewed following its Sept. 21 premiere.
This was their highest-rated event since Stranger Things returned.
But that hasn’t stopped the show from receiving some harsh criticism from the LGBTQ+ community.
Apparently, the series originally dropped with a category tag of LGBTQ+.
It’s true, Dahmer was a gay man and his victims were as well, but their sexual orientation plays absolutely no role in why people are intrigued by this disgusting animal.
Dahmer sought out people he wanted to have sex with and then would drug them and attempt to make them sex slaves, ultimately killing them. Who those victims chose to love in their normal lives is irrelevant.
The tag implies this is some how a part of an LGBTQ+ subset or something and it’s appalling.
