His wife Charity said he took his life in front of her (!!!) during an argument. She told authorities that her husband killed himself in front of her during their argument in the garage. Their children, ages 4 and 5, were in the house during the time of the incident, per CNN.
Johnson was taken to the hospital shortly after he was found to have a pulse at the scene, according to the police report, but he was pronounced dead at the hospital. The report also indicated that Johnson had “no mental health history.”
