Got to be honest. This is annoying to me. Adam Levine and his band, Maroon 5, were playing a show at the Hollywood bowl on October 23rd when a crazed fan lept onto the stage and wrapped her arms around Adam.
Now… lets set aside that we’re in the age of deadly virus mutations and celeb stalkers have never been more emboldened to come after their idols…
The man didn’t push the fan, yell at the fan, nothing. He simply let security do it’s job and remove her and then mouthed “fuck” as he rolled his shoulders and moved on with the show.
Some are taking this like he feels he’s better than his fans or it was some how disrespectful and I can’t believe you could get that from what happened.
So Adam addressed the situation on his Instagram stories.
‘So I just wanted to address the Hollywood Bowl incident thing, a fan coming up to me on stage. I have always been someone that loves, respects, worships our fans. Without our fans, we don’t have a job. I say that all the time — to our fans,’ he continued.
‘To think that anyone would believe that I thought that our fans were beneath us or less than makes my stomach turn. That’s just not who I am,’ Levine said with a pained expression on his face.
Honestly. This man having to defend walking away from a person jumping him on stage is ridiculous. Watch the tiktok that started it all and you decide.
