I’ve pretty much had it with whatever Demi Lovato’s become. It’s not quite a Karen and not quite a social warrior.
This summer Demi demanded a yogurt shop “do better” for offering sugar free options at it’s store because the singer, actress, judge, felt triggered by the faux sweet treats after having suffered years of an eating disorder. But that’s just not fair to the rest of the world and the goods stayed.
Now she’s coming in defense of creatures from another galaxy.
Lovato claims it is a ‘derogatory term’ and that ‘ETs’ should be used instead, according to an interview with PEDESTRIANtv.
‘I think that we have to stop calling them aliens because aliens is a derogatory term for anything,’ Lovato said. ‘That’s why I like to call them ETs! So yeah, that’s a little tidbit. A little information that I learned.’
Ummm… where did you learn that? An abductee help group? Because I would think they wouldn’t care about the feeling’s of ol ET.
The editor of the interview even put in a note, stating ‘As per Demi’s guidance, we have refrained from using the A-word in this article as it’s an offensive term, no matter who you’re directing it at.’
Lovato brought up the term being offensive when asked what some of the biggest misconceptions about aliens are.
The singer replied: ‘I think the ones that bother me are that they’re harmful or that they’ll come and take over the planet.’ lol oh she’s too much.
