John Mulaney once said he never wanted children, but maybe he just needed to meet the right woman. Because he says he’s excited to be having a baby with the gorgeous and funny Olivia Munn.
The comedian, 39, confirmed the happy news during an unannounced appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday evening as he credited Olivia and their unborn child for ‘saving me from myself.’
John split from his wife of seven years in November 2020 after attending rehab for an ongoing drug problem. He and Olivia began dating soon after.
Mulaney said although she was also right out of recovery when they started dating, she ‘held my hand through that hell that was his recovery.’
Mulaney continued: ‘I got into this relationship that’s been really beautiful with someone incredible. And we’re having a baby together. I was nervous when I was about to say the news!
“I’m gonna be a dad. I’m… we’re both really, really happy.’
“I love you, Seth. You know, you guys saved me from drugs. And Olivia and this baby have helped save me from myself, and this early journey out of recovery. And, yeah, I don’t have a joke for that.
“I’m really grateful to you, buddy. Thank you.’
Olivia has been spotted (below) out and about with her burgeoning baby bump.
