Kathy Griffin, the red headed comedian who many love to hate, has had a rocky half decade. And things seem to be getting worse.
She took to twitter on Monday to announce that she has been diagnosed with Lung Cancer and will be undergoing surgery to remove half of one of her lungs, despite never having smoked.
“Doctors are very optimistic as it is stage one and contained to my left lung,” the 60-year-old Griffin said. She added that if all goes well, she will not require chemotherapy or radiation treatments.
“I should be up and running around as usual in a month or less,” wrote Griffin.
