According to Homeland Security agents in a virtual press conference held Wednesday, Josh Duggers computer has software on it that would alert his wife if he looked at porn.
Agent Gerald Faulkner said the software was called Covenant Eyes and is a Christian based program meant to keep porn addict from looking at suggestive material online.
The software “periodically captures screenshots,” which are then analyzed by artificial intelligence and sent to a trusted “ally” who can hold the user accountable for their internet usage, according to the Covenant Eye’s website.
In the case of Josh Duggar, the trusted ally was his wife, Anna.
The software didn’t catch the over 200 images of child porn feds say were on Josh’s computer, because he had is hidden in a section of the computer that wasn’t monitored.
If convicted of the current charges against him, Josh could face up to 40 years in prison. I hope he gets it all.
