Why am I so excited for this? I wasn’t even that big a fan of the cartoon. But there’s so much potential there with a super hero teen angst show.
The CW’s live-action reboot stars Dove Cameron (Bubbles), Chloe Bennet (Blossom) and Yana Perrault (Buttercup). Donald Faison (from Scrubs and Clueless!) will be playing Professor Utonium, the creator and father figure to the Powerpuff Girls.
The gang was shooting in Atlanta (what’s not shot in ATL these days?) and we think the show could be released by summer.
