Those crazy Aussies are sending “Pooch Perfect” our way and it’ll be on ABC soon enough. It ran for only one season in Australia, but ABC thinks America will embrace it more.
The show is more or less a typical dog show, but with celeb judges. Rebel’s celebrity judges will be Lisa Vanderpump as well as a veterinarian called Callie Harris and dog-groomer-to-the-stars Jorge Bendersky.
Jorge charges at least $300 an hour to a client list that includes Gisele Bundchen, Diddy and Ralph Lauren, he told Business Insider last year.
The first season was won by a pet salon owner called Wendy and her daughter Nikki who were presented with a cash prize of $100,000. Although the winnings for the U.S. version of the show have yet to be announced the names of some challenges have – Ultimutt Challenge and Immunity Puppertunity.
