You only need to know me for a short while to know I never miss an episode of jeopardy and I don’t fuck around when I watch. If I’m out at the bar, I’m recording at home. I wont play intoxicated. I’m here to win.
And real watchers know that Alex’s passing will open up the era of Ken Jennings, and there really isn’t anyone better suited for the job. I pray pray pray that some johnny come lately exec doesn’t decide Jane Lynch (just as an example) would bring some needed humor to the set. It’s not that kind of show.
But I was thought at the number of celebrities that took time to have their assistant tweet out condolences.
I was obsessed with Jeopardy as a nerdy kid growing up in Ohio. I’ve loved and revered Alex Trebek since I can remember. What an iconic career. RIP Alex Trebek.

Alex Trebek was kind enough to film a cameo for our film Free Guy last year despite his battle. He was gracious and funny. In addition to being curious, stalwart, generous, reassuring and of course, Canadian. We love you, Alex. And always will.

Greatest host of one of the greatest shows of all time who passed away sadly after a long battle with cancer.
……Who was Alex Trebek?
RIP Mr. Trebek. Thank you for always being there at the end of the day to take my mind off things.

Very sad. #AlexTrebek fought with dignity to the very end. Will never forget filming with him #WhiteMenCantJump. He was kind and funny. When I mispronounced Mt. Vesuvius, he went right along & ad-libbed “checking with the judges” and the rest is history. You will be missed! xoxo https://t.co/SzGfJIyJX3
