Like most people, I watched the dreadful Saved by the Bell as a kid. I watched those idiots at their dinner and at their lockers and while I still protest a Bell reunion without Lisa Turtle and Screech, I am happy to hear Kelly Kapowski, aka Tiffani Theissen, is returning.
In an interview with TV Line on Sunday, the 46-year-old star confirmed he worked with Thiessen on the reboot for NBCUniversal’s steaming service Peacock and said, ‘As far as I know, she will be in an episode or two with me.’
While her screen time may seem minimal, the former teen heartthrob reminded fans, ‘She was, at the time working’ on Netflix’s Alexa & Katie.
During the interview, Gosselaar pointed out he is a series-regular on a competing network for his role on ABC’s hit show Mixed-ish.
‘I’m super gracious that they’re allowing me to do that,’ he stressed, which according to the series’ official logline will kick off with his character Zack Morris landing in hot water, as the governor of California.
