Taylor Swift’s father, Scott Swift, is a legit badass in a very strange story.
So Scott was coming home to his $4,000,000 condo in St Petersburg, Florida. When he stepped off the elevator (which opens directly into his home) he was met with a strange man.
The two immediately engage in a struggle, with the intruder breaking free and fleeing down the fire stairs. And in a really crazy twist, the intruder called 911 to report being attacked in the home he broke into!
Police say the man, identified as Terrance Hoover, was arrested after Swift gave his side of the story.
According to court docs, Hoover got passed the security at the condominium and climbed the 13 flights to Swift’s home where he then entered fire the fire escape door.
So scary, but luckily everyone is ok.
The suspect was being held Monday on a $50,000 bond.
Hoover’s mother told the paper that her son got lost while “looking for churches by the water.” Lol. A likely story.
“He was lost and should be charged with only trespassing,” the mom, Donna DeNapoli, said.
Hoover has a lengthy rap sheet, including charges for domestic violence by strangulation, aggravated battery, burglary, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and kidnapping and false imprisonment.
